Car editing?

can sombody please explane to me how i can edit cars myself with what program please i think adobe photoshop 2 but wich program to open the files and where are the file located?

Well - there are 2 options.

1 is just editing the "skin" or paint on the car... thats easy.

The other is editing the 3D model... thats not easy.
