formation lap

hi all well this is the problem:
in some tracks when i bypass the formation lap with the space key it tell me that it cant go green yet and i have to do the formation lap.
in old ring it happens and it takes a log time to do the lap.can you help me?

just restart the race. thats what i do.

That happened to me on Silverstone, skipped the formation lap, lights go green but the race didn't start and I got the message that I'm not behind the correct car. So I thought maybe it was a false start and did another formation lap, but it happened again. Very annoying.
