Great site guys! I started playing GTR2 a week now and decided I should become a fan....

Here's my first win at Anderstop...I'm using a logitech rumblepad so my line's not perfect but i'm ordering a momo wheel this week :D

any tips would be great (especially for how I could play better with the rumblepad).

The momo wheel is awesome. I personally use it. If you need help adjusting it (you can change the steering's weighting, and in game the strength of feedback and sensitivity. I highly recommend making sure it is well mounted though...the two small front ones are alright, but the rear one is essential to prevent torquing, because that will happen.
And, I recommend going with the BMW or Lotus if you are starting out. They are much more forgiving than the Porsches, which because of their rear engined layout require lots of subtlety at the limit.

Okay I finally got my MoMo wheel and the game now seems harder than ever.. I was playing quite well with my logitech rumblepad but now with the wheel its like a whole new game.. Can I get some tips on what might be best steering sensitivity and deadzone settings please? thanks

I got a momo about a month ago.

0 for deadzones
0 for accel
0 for brakes

Seem to be the norm. This means your controls should be completely linear. It does work well, but I decided I like the accelerator to be more responsive so I run it at about 25% sensitivity.

A couple of other things.
Speed sensitive steering, I droped this to 0%. Its unnessary and confusing, you will natuarly turn the wheel less at high speed due to the increasing force feedback anyway.

Force feedback %.
I lowered this down to about 40% at the start as you can get enough feedback about grip, without it distracting you so much from driving.

Hope this helps.

Thanks I'll give the speed steering settings a try at 0...I'm finally running not to bad laps now, so i think i'll leave accel and brakes sensitivity at default.
