Problems racing at OultonPark..help me!

Recently I converted some racetracks from GTL to GTR2. One of them is Oulton Park. All of the converted tracks work fine in GTR2. Well, most of them anyway...except Oulton Park. No problems during practice and qualifying....BUT after ending qualifying and starting the race....I run into a quite annoying problem.
The grid is formed to start the race and the siteseeing lap starts. But no man, the race won't start and the cars continue driving slowly around the track, also after the siteseeinglap. Pressing the spacebar (to skip the siteseeinglap) doesn't solve this, the cars just do not accelerate and keep on driving with the speed of a turtle. With other tracks no such problems whatsoever. Can anyone tell me what might be the problem and how to solve this???

I don't know the fix as far as editing but you can race there if you do a standing start.. rolling starts don't work. That could be a clue to any AIW guru's :)

I've experienced this on quite a few converted tracks, particularly if I restart a race. At Silverstone I did 2 formation laps, then coming round to what I thought would be the start, a 3rd formation lap!!! :mad::

Yup this is a common one. If you go to Hungarian SimWorld and find "GTR2 Track Pack 2" there is a version of Oulton Park that has been converted to GTR2 and as far as I can remember I haven't had any problems with Oulton. It's a tricky site to navigate but if you click on the "SzimulátorokMod" then on the text GTR2 that brings up a list of all the tracks and cars and mods. You use the >> to scroll through the pages until you get to file you require. It's quite a long way in but you'll probably find one or two other gems while you're there.

I took your advice and found what you suggested. Great, man! Thanks, this version of Oulton Park is even better then the one I had first. Also the starting problems do not accur in this version. Again thanks!!!!
