I may be missing something completely fundamental here, and I did a search on it on the forum but no dice..

So I'm just wondering how I convert the replay files (I think they are .vcr's?) to mpeg or wmv's so I can upload them to the net?

Thanks a lot guys!

Fraps is great. (i just use windows moviemaker afterwards edit, save as "video for local playback 2,1 Mbit/sec" wich i think gives the best quality)

Hey guys,
Has anyone used virtualdub to capture GT2 or any other game?
Fraps demo only allows 30sec video capture, where vdub is free.
I am trying to insert video of replay or hotlap to motec, where it must be in mpeg or avi format.
thanks

Vdub is not a directx/opengl capture program. The only free program that does what fraps does is called taksi (its on sourceforge), but I only get a black screen whenever I use it. So I just payed for Fraps, it was either that, or keep hitting F9, and join all the clips afterwards :roflmao:
