I've had GTL since it has been released and in all that time haven't raced at the Nurburgring (The one that comes with the game not Nordschleife) To my surprise this track made my computer completely lock up. I have a pretty good machine and usually have no problem with full grids and lots of eye candy. Everything is OK off the start line but as soon as the cars start going through the first turn the FPS starts to slow until it just locks up the game.
So far this is the only track to do this? I do get some slow down at Anderstorp but nothing like this. I dropped my resolution down to 1200x1024 and put shadows down to medium but the exact same thing happened again. (25 car field)
Right after that I tried a race at Donnignton with 36 cars and everything went well.
