We race most weeks on saturday evenings, qualifying starts at 8.00pm UK time and lasts for 15 minutes, and is followed by a race which generally lasts ~ 40 minutes (the server will generally be up running an extended practice for a couple of hours before qualifying starts).

Most importantly, we race for fun and are more interested in 'fair' 'gentlemanly' racing than outright speed - therefore we deliberately do not have a points scoring system, hopefully this prevents the 'red mist' from descending and causing avoidable incidents. It doesn't matter if you are fast or slow, we currently have a mix of skill levels so its quite likely there will be someone to give you a good race.

How it works
Anyone is welcome to join, but we do have a server limit of 28 players, so each week when we start the topic for that weeks race, the first 28 to reply saying they want to race that week are in !

================================================== =======

Rules
1) Be ready to qualify and race on the race date, have your setups prepared.

2) We are stressing the importance of proper racing attitude. Race like a gentleman and avoid contact if at all possible, any 'iffy' incidents will be reviewed and if it is evident that a collision could have been avoided then we will put the person under review.

3) It is mandatory to run a "VIRTUAL MIRROR" in cockpit for a clear view of the back.

4) Please do not leave the race unless your car is un-repairable in the pit lane. Clarification: this includes not leaving at the end of the race while there are others still completing their race. Please wait until all drivers have completed the race before leaving.

5) Prior to the race shut down any P2P or messenger systems, anything that will use up your upload/download bandwidth.

5) Have fun. Fun is why we do this, for our personal pleasure, there's no need to over stress your self to gain an extra point because we dont use a points scoring system.

6) In-game chat should be kept to a minimum during qualifying and race sessions while there are cars on the track. Common courtesies of the sort that you may programme as standard chat buttons on your wheel, such as 'sorry', 'thanks', 'pass right' etc., are perfectly acceptable, but please refrain from chit-chat as it can be very distracting if you are on a hot qualifying lap or trying to finish a race.

7) If you experience connection problems or one of the game bugs that prevent you from racing then please leave the race server. Do not attempt to 'carry on regardless' as you may unfairly spoil the race of others. The sorts of thing we means are if you join the race session but can't see any other cars, or if you are dropped in an unusual position when attempting to join the grid.

8) You must use the same name in the game as you do on the forums - to put it simply its too damn hard to know who is who when you have different game/forum usernames. Unrecognised names on the server will be booted.
