Really big noob question (Convertors)

Excuse my ignorance, I come from lands where sims aren't moddable or sims are too moddable :P

Does the GTL to GTR2 converter do GTR1 to GTR2? I've been looking for it to convert Kings of Ovals to GTR2 (for my own use obviously).

DIY, convert it yourself, just edit the names of the files from gtl and change to gtr e.g MMAPS.gtl to MMAPS.gtr and change the same extentions in the trk file and edit the GDB file, it all takes me no more than 3-4 mins

Sorry, I meant to get GTR1 stuff in to GTR2, not about GTL. Sorry.

GTR1 and GTR2 don't really get on and I haven't seen that many mods carried over, so I suspect it is very difficult and time consuming. I know this sounds more than a bit silly but, have you tried rFactor? It has an oval mod, lots of Nascars and all sorts of Indy and IRL car mods are in the pipeline. Why can't I stop plugging rFactor?..I think they should start paying me?..
