Losing times.

After upgrading to WinXP I re-installed RT. I then copied all my saved files from the previous installation including the patch, player etc. Now when I set a new record time for a stage it won't save it. It keeps the old stage record. Any ideas? Very frustrating setting new records and losing them.

Did you copy the files from a cd?

Because, then it will set all the files to read-only. Right click on the folder and choose properties to correct that.

I noticed that it would save my times if I used the novice cars. Something to do with the cheat I think. Anyhow I re-installed the game without my saved player files and now it's ok. Just means I lost all my old stage records (they weren't that great anyway). Thanks for the suggestions.
