You have got to be kidding me!!!!!!!!! My first chance at a top 10 possibly top 5 finish and on lap 10 my PC has to lock up. Got stuck in the dirty sound loop. Thats it, next week i'm putting everything at stock and rebooting before the race.

Good race all! 1st turn went fairly well, yet I was knocked into the kitty litter on the outside of the high speed right sweeper. Fell into last place! LAME!!! I think someone got into the back of me at this point. Sorry to whomever...had to avoid the wall. Raced back up into 9th even though the car was now pushing. I lost that position under Oppis' pressure as I blew turn 1. The rest of the race was lonely except for gordie who slowed me up a bit. I wish i placed higher, yet considering I was 21st at one point, 10th is not all that bad. Good racin' guys, see ya'll on track now, ya hear!

That does suck...you had some good speed out there. That's why they say "Any given Saturday..."

My race was entertaining. Bogged down big time in p2 off the line, down to p7 by the first turn. Well done all for a controlled start! Brilliant tussle into T5 with burny, gupster and kristofer, burny put one up the inside of gupster, i followed through but at one point it was nearly 3 abreast! Serious respect to all for getting thru without an incident! Was chasing burny at the end of lap 1 and had a good battle, eventually passed him and on lap 3 put one down the inside of Karlos into T1. Chased down STV drivah and slownlow and had another nice battle with them, manage to clear them both in T3 and T4 after slownlow went in a little late into T1. Good racing guys. Tried to catch digitAL and the gap was constant at 4secs for ages, but then i binned it in T2 luckily escaped unharmed and avoided the "quicksand" gravel traps... Held on to finish 2nd after a got the worn tyres warning 3 laps from the end. Enjoyed this race a lot! Maybe wet races more often in future?

Came out in 17 spot and gaind some plases in the next corners until t8 when i was getting a tiny little push in the rear and into the sand it went . Had some good battles on the way up the field and finaly got the 9. place from bentfocus . The end of the race was lonely stuck in the middle of nowhere. But i am very pleased wiht the result .:) (ps check out my cool car ....... the black one to the left . 1971 saab v4)

have to say, I got an awesome start, surprised myself! Got alongside Slownlow, unfortunately I was on the left hand side of the track and not far enough up to get past so settled back in 2nd through Elf. I then managed to hold a really tight line round Renault and got my nose alongside. I think we touched briefly and I held off to let him go ahead, but he didn't so I did. The rest was pretty boring if I'm honest, gap to 2nd got up to 4 secs and stayed there for most of it. Then as Jayblue has said, he visited the kitty litter.
Final corner, final lap, think it was Geordie....broke on the apex! I nudged him but no damage, what a bummer that'd have been if I'd binned it on the last corner!
Looking forward to the Glen now.
Edit - just watched replay and it wasn't Geordie who brake tested me, it was Mad Hamish, it wasn't the last corner either but at Campsa, was on the last lap though! Apologies Geordie.

That was fun.
I think I qualified 5th on soft wets, anyway I got a good start and was up to 4th by T1 so i was expecting to be hit any moment  But everyone did a great job, through 1 and 2 and 3. :woohoo:
The adrenaline was flowing as I thought, wow i'm in 4th and i've not been rammed this could be a good race. I stayed with the leaders till lap 3 when Jay did a very professional and clean pass on me. Down to 5th
I tried stay with him but ended up loosing time by trying to go faster. On lap 4 Burny and Kristopher where in my mirrors and closing. First Burny got me out of T3 closely followed by Kris into T4, there was some contact but no-ones fault. I was sliding in on the brakes Kris was sliding slightly out on the brakes, we bumped. I slide into the Bunker.
As i rejoined Gupster and Sidewinder got by But I got Sidewinder braking into T5, so i was 8th. Had a dodgy moment after that when Kris's car was lagging in the middle of a straight and luckily my car went through his.
Lap 6 reminded me of Mugello, remember when Kris was ahead of Burny and lost it, leaving Burny nowhere to go so he, took out Burny causing a major pileup. Well the reverse happend Burny lost it big time and took out Kris. Luckily no pileup this time. I was up to P6 with sidewinder in my mirrors.
Lap 8 Sidewinder got passed down to P7. We were running pretty close and I endup up missing a braking zone. I use the ground at that piece of the track, but Sidewinder was on it. I pulled out beside him, but got covered in spray, then I realised I missed the braking zone, so i Slammed on the brakes locking the front which pulled the car across towards Sidewinder :headspin: So I rammed Sidewinder, totally my fault for missing the braking zone, and then jumping on the brakes, I apoligise.
* Although for the record I like it noted that I was gonna race on Hard Wets but just before the race Sidewinder convinced me Intermidiates would be the only way. So by running on Inters I was 1.5 - 2.0 seconds a lap slower hence why I was running with sidewinder. But it was still my fault :D *
Down to P9, but then on Lap 9 Jcarno was froze on the track, me and Sidewinder had a job avoiding him. That sucks that your pc let you down man
So I was in P8 until lap 16/17 when Sidewinder lost it on the straight, I got him only too run wide at the end off the lap as I was scared by the way he was constantly braking later than me. The next couple of laps I kept making little mistakes, so I was stuck in P8 till the end of the Race.
Congrats to the poduim and to everyone else right down to last for making this an enjoyable and clean race
Cya all at the Glen

Biek, i'm not sure which mod i have installed that caused the mismatch, i found it easier to use a stock copy. It was a fantastic race and i gotta say everyone is driving alot cleaner as evidenced in the first lap. Super fun to be running 2-3 wide with no contact. Bent, sorry i was in your way there and i didn't even know we touched till i watched the replay. Congrats Al on the win :)

Ok boys, good times today, exceptional racing. I may as well fill you in on how my day transpired. I was running in the 1m50s zone on Tuesday, best was a 1m50.3xx but I was unable to match that pace the rest of the week until today when I made a last minute adjustment in my set up and managed to qualify 4th with a 50.6xx I believe, my best qualifying to date in the no-grip league. I started behind Jayblue and I had a great start, I immediatly realised that he was either asleep :p or like he said in a previous post he bogged. I tucked myself behind slownlow I believe going into elf and snatched p2 from him under braking. I was very close to digital going into repsol and seat but he was definately on a mission and increased the gap significantly early on. I stayed in p2 for a couple laps when Jayblue managed to claw his way back up the field and he made a very bold move under braking into repsol. I touched his left rear quarter slightly and it damaged my aero package. I was surprised he went for it when and where he did, took me by surprise but it was a great pass nonetheless  . I had a great battle with slownlow for several laps until i took too much curb coming out of sabadell, he was able to overtake me and hold on to p3 for the rest of the race. I was from 2-4 seconds behind him for at least 10 laps and finished just over a second behind him. Slownlow, myself and Gupster looked like we were running near identical lap times as the gaps did not change by much between p3, 4 & 5. It was fantastic racing, I love it :elephant:

After being away from the race last weekend, it felt good to be back :)
First of all, I had some problems with invisible cars at the start and lots of lag at one point during the race. With cars in front being invisible and a few seconds later coming back!
The race was very exciting in the first few laps  Especially in the first turns after the start, think it was 3-4 cars fighting for position. After that I ended up behind Burny, and when he spun in front of me it was impossible to avoid him. Lost 2-3 places and was back on track trying to catch the guys in front.
Was 4-5sec behind when two cars in front (dont remember who it was) had gone off, passed them and was back up in 6th. From that point I was basically driving alone home to finish, just trying to stay on track and keep my position. Nice race but abit boring towards the end ;)

The race was good except for the countless visits to the kitty litter, all of my own doing. Down into turn one, Kristopher disapeared from view and as I made the right, I started to pinch the apex and bounced off Kris. But no major damage to either, so onward. I believe the first visit to the sand box was turn eight, Gupster boke kinda early for me, and to avoid hitting him I opted for the playground.....To tell the truth, I am not very fond of wet racing, as I struggle with the set up on a dry track! But, I think it does enhance everyone's awareness that extra room may be needed between cars, so the racing is a lot cleaner than dry. KUDO's to DigitAL for the win and everyone for some really good racing.
PS sorry Geordie for the contact on the front stretch! Got REAL wobbly!!
Phil
Definately looking foward to the Glen!

Congrats to the winner:up:
I qualified 17th, been in 10th, been hit(unintentional, no problem:cool: )
back to 14th, recover to 10th, did a mistake, back to 14th:p
with 15 mnts to the end (with no damn grip at all)
Lets do same race, same cars but dry tarmac:D   :OMG:
At least i had fun, because every exiting corner i had some
power slide steering(damn Viper coupe):censored:
BTW, i was doing 270 km at the end of the straight.
At those very same 15 mnts to the end, i had the same freeze problem:cry:
so, i had to shut down the PC(weird, that could happen any 2 mnts. after
begining a game, or after 30 mnts., damn random issue.
Thanks all for the fair driving
Cheers

Bent, sorry i was in your way there and i didn't even know we touched till i watched the replay,:)
Hey no problem, I think it was "a racing incident". We all want the cleanest race possible...
We were THREE WIDE for a couple turns...someone was going to get punted.
Just didn't want it to be me :)
Good racin' guys!

Also,
Pribeiro did a great job in the VIRTIGO CUP... That Viper was hard to pass.
I agree with you Phil, the wet did make for some forgiving driving. Lets keep with the trend all.

Started the race in 11th. Thought I got a good start until I saw pribeiro flying past me in a viper. The first three turns were fun but at the end of that I was where I started. I picked up a position in campsa when gupster and bentfocus collided. PHILH959 then lost it under braking in la caixa gifting me 9th position.
A few laps later KarlosDaJackal had a collision in repsol but he managed to stay ahead of me under braking into the next turn. This begun a battle that would last for the rest of the race. A lap or two later Kristofer and BuRnY had a collision out of Turn 11 granting me 7th position.
After another few laps I got a bit tired of staring at the gearbox belonging to Karlos and after many unsucessful attempts to pass him I finally got by on the brakes into repsol. Only problem was both of us had similar pace so I started to make a few small mistakes here and there.
We had a collision soon after into la caixa but looking at the replay I take some responsibility for that as I broke about 10 meters to early. it put us back down to 8th and 9th. Half a lap later Jcarno appeared to have connection issues allowing me to retake 7th.
Several laps later I caught a bit to much of the outside kerb in the last turn with the result of my car saying hello to the pit wall and giving Karlos 7th place. A lap later he paid a visit to the gravel trap out of turn 12.
After that I brought it home to finish 7th.
Biek, i'm not sure which mod i have installed that caused the mismatch, i found it easier to use a stock copy.
Okay, thanks anyway. I'll see if I can run both a 'upgraded' GTR2 and a clean one. Should be possible and then I'd be able to join those fun races again.
