I've downloaded 2 cars that I love but both have tech graphs that do not show up when viewing the tech information in the showroom. Not a big issue normally but i'd like to be able to run them on a private server and don't want to have to field questions about where the info is or why is doesn't show up.
The bit map with the tech graph is in the right team folder but I don't know which file to modify to map it and make is show up properly. I'm sure this is a "101" question to most of the designers/skinners in here but any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
L

Hi,
example file:
71020M_GT_SALEEN_S7R_Graph.txt
In the corresponding file in your teamfolder of the respective car there
is a file also ending with ... _Graph.txt. In there you have to correct the path and the graphics will show up ok. The bitmap must also have the right name, for the example above this would be:
71020M_GT_SALEEN_S7RGraph.bmp
Hope this helps :)

Thanks a lot... I got it sorted... It was set up all funky. Looks like it was routed for completely different skin project. I have another issue as well with the interior graphics on the car as well (the windscreen graphic doesn't match the outside) it's just a very pixilated porsche logo from the inside.

Now that is a real problem - making inside banners is a real pain in the ...
If you really need to have it right, send the whole files of the team to me, i will fix it for you - if i find the time :o

That's ok... "need" status is relative really. Right now I think I'm just in the "really want" phase. I don't want to take you away from more pressing projects like the United Colours Saleen....LOL. Thanks for all your help man. You've been great.

And thank you both for hitting a detail or two in your discussion that I've been wondering about but figured was too insignificant to ask.
forums certainly are worthwhile, wouldn't ya' say...........

Indeed, the forums are an amazing resource. I know people have to be looking at my questions and thinking "get a life" but if you don't ask you don't learn. Now if I can just get someone to coach me on my times at Donnington I'll be sussed. LOL.
I'm sure I sound like I'm nit picking on some this stuff but some of these cars are so amazing with the outside detail that it gets you hungry for the full experience and then you hop in the cockpit and you're like .. "Wait a minute, Where the hell am I?"
