Hi i am wanting to know how to skin/paint wheels in game?

i have my skinned car and i just want to change wheels?

hi i had the same problem, that article is so complicated, my genstring isn't like abcd........, anyway if you want to change wheels i usually take another wheels from other cars and paste it into dds wheels files.

Hi, firstly i have to say that this work is very confusing, i got wrong many times before learn it. You have to see in the wheels gtr files the dds pictures(there are six for each design) and you must find other dds wheels in other cars but they have to have exactly the same shape as the original dds wheels. When you have found it you replace each original wheel dds file with the new, be careful with the file's names they must be the same as the original. Try it, in conclusion this consist in tunning the dds files pasting into it a new shape in every dds file. Ask me again if you have any problem. Bye
