After dealing with Trojans and stuff on my PC, I reinstalled rFactor and all the mods that I had for it. Everything seems to be okay, but the cockpit view is VERY close to the steering wheel, almost feels like I'm hitting it with my chin:eek:
Has anyone had this problem? BTW I tried moving the seat, it's not that.

I don't know what the cause of your problem is, we can run through a few possible things, hiccups and senarios:
Does this happen in all your cars?
When you say you've tried the seat move...have you remembered to reassign the seat moving buttons?
Have you installed the 1150version then patched or gone straight for the 1250version?
Had you patched your previous version?
Have you installed the 1150version and left it unpatched, when your previous install had been patched?
Are there any other controls that don't work properly?

In all the cars, I reassigned seat controls, I am running 1150 version, had problems with 1250, all the controls work. I think it has something to do with HUD display but I'm not sure.

HUD? That would be weird. However stranger things have happened.

I've found it! Looks like vertical FOV was set to 35 - dunno how this happened but it's good now.

That is very good news and interesting! I always wondered what that actually does now we know. It jams your seat! I had an Escort like that.
