Internet Racing

I have downloaded some really nice cars into GTR2, but when I go to Internet Racing the car is not recognized, even thought it is definitely in the right folder as it is usable when racing off line. Any way to use downloaded cars on the Internet Racing?

For it to be usable online the server must have that car installed also.

I don't know if anyone posted this before. One thing about NFS Hot Pursuit 2 was you can skin cars and still race them. Maybe I was the only one who could view the car on the track (the other player could to if they had the skin) other then that he only viewed the default game car, that was neat. I wish it was possible with games like GTR2 that we still could just drive the skin cars online with restrictions made because the car is different.

You can skin the standard cars in GTR2 and use them anywhere you want. But like you say only youself can see the skins. (Or others if they have your skin). Just save the skin as a DDS file in the standard teamfolder (using the correct name offcourse). We do it all the time in our league.

Our races never end in the first corner, they only start there :) :) :)

Hi,
I can't speak very good english but i will try...When i want to join a server with a downloaded car, i can't join it. However i have seen some drivers who drive with a downloaded car even on a server like IOT-04...I don't know what i have to do to use DL cars on all the servers!!!
I need help THX
