There is a button - called insert image... 7th from the left...
Or if you mean to create a car - there are a lot of threads here in english or at gtr4u.de in german

Is the a site that has a tutorial that would help me how to paint? Here are some that I would like until I can myself.

The hardest part of learning how to paint GTR2 skins is becoming familiar with where all the parts are in the template.
I am of the considered opinion that the templates pretty much suck. The layer organization is crap (and not nearly atomic enough), the only way you can really determine what parts are where is by hit-or-miss, and the wire-frame layer is anti-aliased (how stupid is that).
Once you come to terms with those drawbacks, the actual painting part is pretty easy.
Of course, getting the skin in the game is easy as long as you're just re-skinning an existing car, but if you're creating a stand-alone car, it's back to hassle city once again because you have to modify the .GTR files for the car. When you do this, you have to have a well-developed ability to concentrate and have no interruptions, or you'll get it so hopelessly screwed up that you have to start all over again.
Finally, cars have multiple files for things like windows, car skin, underbody, windshield, and other things. For instance, the Saleen has a file that you need to extract/modify for the front fender louvers. This can be a royal pain in the ass if they're not a solid color.
I would say that painting cars for GTR2 is not for the faint at heart, but actually getting a paint job done completely can be quite satisfying because you get a sense of "conquering the monster", such as it is.
I've only painted a couple of Saleens and a handful of GT-40's, but it was enough to make me not really want to do it anymore... :)

thats the problem i had, i got 3DS MAX scenes and numbered every part of the template, opened it in 3DS MAX and then wrote down what number was where on the car, AND THAT STILL DIDNT HELP ME,
So i just painted the whole thing the color i wanted, the put the logos on where ever and hoped it worked

hey guys, just started racing GTR2 a few weeks ago. Was wondering if anyone here could make a Ferrari 550 Maranelo skin for me.
Id like it to be #10 Godsmack Racing. Maybe Red and black with some nice lightning on it, and Godsmack Logo. Let me know if this is possible to do, if not I understand totally.
Cheers!
