Race report, September 3

Races on Wednesday night were fierce. PPI showed the way in his Alpine in Finland and Russia while the rest of us tried to tag along as best as we could. Gregory and Henke took a few stages as well. Roger appeared to have some difficulties with the line and eventually lost connection (we need to sort that out! Btw how was that steak and wine Roger? :) I saw your message a bit late, as I was bisy trying to fight off a fellow country man of yours in Russia. AutoEgo is his name and the rallies a Beetle IRL :up: )

One of the most difficult race evenings at Gamespy ended with a long row of muddy Alpines parked outside the Bugbear autoshop. The mechanics were heard saying something about "this will be a LONG night". We all agreed as we headed for the pub.

Not only did I loose connection, but I found that my Alpine is a touch tricky to drive on gravel :o

As I have not driven RT since my last foray into gamespy - I think I will get some practice in before next time and hope to run a bit better.

I did pop back later, but it seemed a bit quiet - I should have hung around longer by the sounds of it.
