Track: Monaco 79'(http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=2502)
Class: NGT, G2, G3
Tyre's: 3x
Fuel: 3x
Time scaled mechanical failures on
Time: 60min
The server will be up at aprx. 18:00 UK, 19:00 Central Europe, 14:00 EST for Practice. The race will start at 20:00 UK, 21:00 Central Europe, 15:00 EST.

Monaco in porsche GT3 or Lotus, 3x tires, 3x fuel, time damage, 1hr!!!
Haven't driven at Monaco since GT3 first came out.
2nd vote would be Donnington with the same car and stats as above.
3rd vote: talledega road course...same.
BTW: Man...last week was fun!

How about Monaco, with G2 + NGT + G3
G2 should be the fastest but the NGT porsches will give them a run for there money, anybody who sucks at setup can just take the Vertigo and still put in decent laptimes.
What do you reckon?
Sounds like good fun, although the first corner will be tight as always... i'd be up for it!

How about running BOTH the Porsche and the Lotus.
Some can run the Porsche and go for the win. Some can run the Lotus and have a ball.
I've been lucky enough to find two online races that had only the Lotus available. They were excellent races. Seems the morons wouldn't be caught dead in the car so the drivers in the race were great to race with.
The best race was at Watkins Glen. There are only a few touchy places there in the Lotus.
Zolder is also a very fun track in the Lotus. The hills make for lots of interest. Zolder does have a few more technical corners that are touchy to get right.
If we are going to race at Monaco with the NGT, G2 and G3 cars. How about the BMW M3 and the Corvette? These two cars are way to fast for al the others. Are these going to be banned or allowed ?
Well im in, Monaco is ok but with slower cars like the ngt.No beemers neither chevs only porsches,tvr,modenas and for those who want just walk in the park the lotus,vertigos and stuff like that:)Im gonna test the pits to see if they are ok :)

I play on a server a lot that has NGT + G2 cars, and the porsche RSR can easily trouble the BMW's, the fact its on monaco only adds to that, hell I even saw a gillet vertigo going around barcelona a lot faster than 9/10 beamers.
If both beamers and RSR are allowed, i'll be in an RSR and expecting to beat most of the beamers, G2 cars are not that much faster.
anyway its a "fun" race, not a win at all cost race. I guarantee you people won't pick the beamer when they realise a porsche will finish ahead of them :)

Not sure if this thread was a sign in or not, but most appear to think so. So if it wasn't already obvious, I'm in.
I'll take the Beamer. If it has a better default setup (for we who suck at setups), or more HP to give the newbies a better chance.
I don't care about winning. I just want to race with other humans!
And finish...maybe even on the lead lap! One can dream.

Damn....Monaco.....one of my top ten fave tracks....BUT my grandaughters (Only) is having a one year b-day party...so I am sorry, but I will have to miss this great event!....Maybe Karlos can do a video, and I can at least see someone else spinning, for once, LOL

Made a couple of laps with the rsr and its fabulous the feeling around the track but it seems that soft slicks warm too much lets see:o

Monaco would have been a classic all lotus race,but i will make make it for this one anyway as im sure whatever the choice ends up,it will be fun,so sign in please :up: .

8) You must use the same name in the game as you do on the forums - to put it simply its too damn hard to know who is who when you have different game/forum usernames. Unrecognised names on the server will be booted.

Start lights maybe an issue for whoever is on pole!
If its me (lol) i'll have to use the external camera to see them and then switch back into the car for the first turn.
Pits are ok thank God:up: and for the start lights well i didnt saw them the last couple of races so im not worried about it:)

Alright, it's a little premature, but i'm declaring next week that we're running melbourne. F1 starts next weekend and it's a perfect fit. But let's deal with monaco first :D

Hry all...concerning Monaco, anyone else get sucked into a vortex right after turn 1? I was racing A.I., got bounced to the inside of turn 1 where there is a triangular patch of concrete between the track and the wall, the surface is visible, yet not "physically" there. As such, my car sucked below the ground where it endlessly spun! Watch out!
BTW I'm running 1:35s anyone else got times?

Got 1.37's with BMW and RSR, still working on it. 1.35 will be the time for high grid slots. Still to decide what to ride for Saturday.:rolleyes:
My best time until now is 1.35:768 in a Morgan !! 34's is possible, i haven't finished my setup yet !!

Niceone mate, looks like your lads are running riot, 4-1 and the 2nds about to start.
Ill do my best for saturday, it'll be great. just had a few last in the M3 and was hitting 136.236 pushing it hard.
Its finding the best breaking points on monaco for me, if i hit nice sweet spots, then the racing line comes naturally..
This circuit and the long beach are fantastic..
Since its a fun race can i join in too although im not part of the league please.
Do the TVR F1 skins on the new Albert Park Track.

Hmmm..I tried the C5 and come to the conclusion that I would be putting my fellow competitors in harms way....in the RSR I was able to squeeze a 1:36:11 and 1:40:32 with the Gillet <---I hear it sometimes rains at Monaco at this time of year.:cool:
So judging from the times I'm seeing posted above...I'll not see any starting lights in this race either:cry:

Just so you know...at Nogrip online races...only "stock" cars are on the server, that is, the ones that come with the game....and usually for league races, just stock tracks also. Since this is a fun race, I am assuming Dan will allow the monaco track, as he did with the daytona rc track.

Ive done 1.30 with the c5r but imo the car is no funny to drive in this track so im going with the rsr and im not going to see the start lights as well:D

I managed 133's with a 360GTC,but the effort and commitment involved to get that would make it an unrealistic consistent race lap time,i am going to give the RSR a try out and maybe a C5R,i tired a C5 for the first time ever last night and was surprised at how good it was,now i see why they are a popular car choice :) .
now if we can talk Dan into running the server we're in! (hint)

Hi guys really sorry but it looks like i've got to pull out of this one, which is a shame as i was really looking forward to it. Had a new computer which i've just finished putting together and i'm having a nightmare getting the mobo and graphics card drivers up and running... Vista is a pain! None of the dvd's i've been supplied with will boot, they all need XP. So i've got to find a work around. It doesn't look promising for tommorow night. Sorry! Have a good race tho.

My best times are over 1:45 and the track is so tight, I just don't want to risk knocking someone out.
I'll be practicing.

M3 is fave in G2 at the moment.
But i really love the vertigo, is a smashing little car to throw around.

Can't join you guys today...but had fun at Daytona last Saturday even though I lost my suspension...on my own account :banghead:
It was my first race with No Grip. Hell, my concern was not to run into anyone and piss you guys off. Good learning experience...a lot more fun than public servers where you usually don't make it out of turn 1. Although that almost happened last week :D

Ive had a power cut for 6 hours where i live today, and it came on with 15 minutes to spare.
This was going to be my first race here at no grip, but for the life of me i could not find the server, in the lobby.
Im absolutly gutted to be honest, i just wanted to take part in a good race with decent fair like minded guys..
Im sorry if i let any one down lads..
