Hotlaps

I wanted to download some hotlaps, just to see how good or bad other racers drive, but with wich program do you have to open these files? I can't open it with Windows Media Player for example. Thanks.

I presume you're talking about GTL/GTR hotlaps...

You use the game itself to view them.

Download a hotlap .VCR file and save in the "ReplayData" folder, eg:

C:\Program Files\GTL\ReplayData
or
C:\Program Files\GTR2\ReplayData

Then fire up the game. In GTL, Replays is an option on the first main menu. Not sure about GTR2, but it shouldn't be hard to find.
