I am releasing this as a beta. GTR has a very hard time dealing with short track ovals. The constant merging traffic from pits are a little tuff. I thought of callign this track "The Demolition Bristol Derby". Bristol is my favorite track and I wanted to race it in the rain is why I converted it. I imagine this track is best for racing online. This track isn't for everybody. I know of only one person for sure who really likes it. ( and that would be me :p ) It has starting light, rain reflections and working pace car. I have jammed 43 garage stalls into the infield. I need to work on them some more. 20 garage spots are very tight. But the pit stalls are pretty good.

cool cool cool
it's good to let people know they might not like it, but, really, no one's going to know until they try it - if they hate ovals, they know they won't like it anyway
the more variety the better for me!

Track looks pretty good. Doesn't have working pits. I got a flat tire and couldn't find my pit area. Lap counter stops after 1 lap for human driver. (In practice mode). Overall I think you did a nice job.

Will give this a test too! Maybe it needs to be run with just 20 cars vs. 30+

I just ran mine in practice with 5 cars. Haven't tried a race with it yet.

Martinsville, I already converted it, but gotta do some (alot) of ai testing. Hope to release it along with Richmond and Dega in a couple or 3 weeks.

Your pits are where the guy is standing in the pits :0. However, you're right the pits are a bit wonky.

I think you have to drive thru the pits on the opposite side 1st and then you're crew will show up in your pits. At least that's what happened for me once. Maybe you just have to get down before a certain spot.

Other than that, track looks great though the flagman is constantly waving the green flag.

Only tested for a short bit.. but the fast cars fly around the track :)

I ran 125 lpas last night with 28 cars.... used the Porsche 911 cup series cars and had a blast. A lot of crashing... and avg. speed was about 110mph... which is close to actual speed of 125 for NASCAR.

I pitted early to avoid the rush... and seen some chaos in the pits lanes coming in going... but not real bad. I finished 4 laps down to the leader though some crashed out and some further back... I was 10th.

Good job so far!

Standing starts might not be a good idea, the cars slide down the bank :D

I'm sorry, I should of said in readme, You have to enter pits in the backstretch and go all the way around to pit properly. This track would of been unracable had I made the 2 pits rows sepetately. Nascar requires it to be that way when pitting under yellow, but you can pit out of turn 3 under green flag in nascar.

In a Nacar race...the front stretch pits can enter off turn four during a green flag, and the back stretch pits can enter off turn 2. BUT during a yellow, ALL cars must enter off turn two.

No problem. Once I figured out the right spot to pit, all worked fine.
Nice job on the track. For a Beta, you did real well.

Hey , got a question. i have orched lake and daytona, and i cant seem to get any grip in the turns. the ai cars go through the corners full throttle, i cant seem to keep it off the wall, and get passed bay every car in corners. any fix for this?

Hi N2L0
Love your Ovals especially the Bristol demolition . I've had a mad time racing from the back in a Mclaren F1 and the Radicals with a full field  and have managed to get the set up working OK . However ,I really wanted to race the Minis like I did in TOCA Race Driver . Whatever I try , they just seem to wash out in the corners . I've tried differant cars , BMW , Lotus and they all seem to do the same thing . Any Ideas would be much appreciated .

Make sure you don't use symmetrical setups, You want the right side of the car to have harder springs, negative camber on the right positive on the left and increase car height. Hopefully this helps you out.
