Am I the only person here who thinks it's a bit expansive?

Ah ah ah ah ah ... This is too funny... Thanks man... I needed that good laugh.
This makes me want to buy it and say to all my friends in few years: "Guys this is the very copy of F1C Spad had made a joke about on nogrip.... "
Now it is a collector.

Now that made ME laugh. Keep it up. :p
Very strange though, I was looking for this game a few months ago, there is a 60's mod similar to GTL for this game. And the thing is, I only mentioned this on the GTL forum yesterday. Spooky.
Ps. maybe it's supposed to be $49.50 they do say "Low Price". But then again, that is one ugly looking piece of art work on the box. Juan should've kept his helmet on.

Huh? Either I just don't get it or you're being a racist jerk. Probably not the racist jerk, it made people laugh when a racist joke would not.

Sales of F1C and NR2003 both stopped when EA got the exclusive NASCAR license and Sony got the exclusive F1 license. Prices of NR2003 are as high as this but I wasn't aware F1C carried the same premium.
NR2003 is still arguably the best NASCAR sim and you need a genuine copy to race on-line which is still immensly popular in the US. So you can understand why it might command a premium. But I don't think that F1C is big on-line now, and was it ever? My copy says you can only race upto 8 others on-line.
Holy (................................................. .............) only want with all the best mods and i gonna :smash: that price:headspin:

I am glad that I held onto the copy that I complained about paying $39.99 for. These games are very hard to find now and there are a lot of great mods out there for F1C and N2K3. They will never leave my hard drive.

Nice that you guys are joking about this... I am looking to buy F1C but not for $150 (there is another 2nd hand copy on Amazon asking $199 now - is that any of you jokers trying finance some kind of drug habit by any chance?).
Seriously, is there any way known to man to get this game for a reasonable price? It just seems crazy.... GTR2 is only $20 new!
Damn commercial licensing.

Thanks rasfigjohn, hopefully have got something sorted for GBP20 or so, and may also get RBR while I'm at it (5 quid). Luckily I still have a little in my old UK bank account (I'm in NY now) saved just for such occaisons. Getting older race sims here is proving to be a nightmare.
I don't have time to do my GTL and GTR2 careers justice at the moment anyway, but I'm sure everyone knows the feeling... each of these games is slightly better than the others at some specific thing, and I convince myself that I NEED them.
Well it's true, I do need them. ;)
I'll be watching that $200 copy on Amazon with interest though... I bet that price will start to creep down after a month or two.
