First of all dont waste your time doing intermediate or wet tyres.Go for slick all the way.Have to be careful with the exit of some corners but besides that its ok and tyres wont heat because track temp is low.Made 1.36 so far with the car that let me down at a1 ring.I think ,besides ferrari,its again the best choice for the race.

I'm doing 1:39's under race condidtions, rain/night/headlights/fuel/tires.

Its not like daytime practice at all, because you have to figure out all your braking points again. The back straight is very scary, there are no track lights your headlights are not much help, the rain on the window is bad enough and then you have the vibration of the car jumping up and down :eek:

Oh and you need about 50 metres more track to slow down for the first 2 laps, as it takes 2 full laps for the temps to come up.

I hope people don't go crazy with too much practice as there will be accidents, despite all the warnings. As its a bank holiday tomorrow maybe we will get an official pre-race going if theres enough on the server.

You bet Karlos:eek: Just made a 10 lap race in drivah server and it was scary .First 2 laps i missed braking points.There is only light at finish line.Pay atention to this:if you miss or brake your headlights you are screwd,so once again lets all be carefull,especialy in first laps until we feel the track better:up: You can count me in for a pre race tomorrow because i think it will be very helpful

I knew I wasn't going to be able to race at Zandvoort because I was working, so I didn't sign up. That shouldn't jeopardise my chance to sign up for the next race... right?

If you just "Host" from the lobby then you only get minimal weather options (Raining, Dry, Changeable etc) I believe. If you use the "GTR2 Dedicated Server" program then you can set how much rainfall you want.

Just a suggestion for all.....try your game offline, 10% rain and 20:00 hours with 27 cars....check your frames at the grid....WOW, I had none....well ok one or two. Good luck all, this race will surely test your system specs.

hi racers i love being a part of clean racing in no grip. it makes all my long hours worth the wait so. thanks every 1 even those who make mistakes... sorry i can be here this week but i have a vaction to see my mom and disneyland so im out this week but i will be back just in time for valencia. so good luck to whoever the special guy is to take my ride. lets go lewis hamilton im so proud i knew we can drive too so we got a shot in f1 and taking full advantage.... Been practicing against the AI and everyone please forget your "normal" braking points for the first lap and take it easy, against the AI i used what i thought was a save braking position for the hairpin after the straight and still ended up hitting the cars infront. Also into T1 if you are on the inside cut the guy outside you a little slack, there is no visiblility of your car from the outside and its all too easy to just turn in and hit you...
It might be interesting too if any black lambo's enter and lose their front and rear lights... mmm where did that car come from that i just hit!

Jack Stand announced today that he will not participate at Magny on Saturday sighting previous commitments. Rumors abound ! Having shown some promise in the pre season fun races...the start of his rookie season has been plagued by a less than stellar performance .. Kiki Buttfacen (Director of Operations for ( "How Slowken-u-go Motorsports Developement") said he had "no comment" at this juncture then added"..they are looking at their options". Serious questions have been raised and rumblings around the paddock have been heard...without Jack who then will mark the end of the longest line? Who will the slow guys pass now??? How will the Nogrip hotshoes react to having no moving chicane???
We'll look for Jack to be back in the seat at Birmingham in two weeks--but only time will tell.

...would've liked to be there this week--I love the rain..but I've got to work...rrrrgggg!!! so I'll get a head start on B'ham for the following week- which is a bit buggy for me...FPS are kinda low and many of the turns seems laggy??

:D Your funny! Seriously tho, shame you will not be racing Jack always miss the regulars, and you are a good driver. Quite a few dropped out now for this one...

Yeah I did....EVERYTHING to low, shadows off, drove from hood...just don't want my warp's to be an issue to those around me....I will not ruin some one's race because of my enthusiasm to try. Several of us were in the nogrip server sun night and it was just 6 cars....I was warping BAD.....and I ain't doing that.

I'll be getting my MOMO in the mail in a week or more. So I will have to make the adjustment from controller to wheel. So I will have to re-learn how to play. You will probably still beat me. HA!!! :roflmao:

Best race set-up lap for me is a 36.5 in an S7R on Pirelli softs.

Car tends to under-steer in the high speed stuff and over-steer in the low speed stuff. But its much better than it was earlier in the week when 39's where hard to do.

I think I will be on a conservative 2 stopper for this one. I think a finish will be an achievement, and top 10 would be great. Damn all those lambo's

So my 1.44.7 isnt a bad time then in M3 GTR :up: :D

In Corvette Fastest 1.38. As there is at least 2 drivers in M3 will now drive that for sure. Lets have a good G2 class race on Saturday :up:

I'm now looking at running the 996 GT2 Geordie, it seems faster than the BMW, :up: but I find it tricky to drive consistantly :down: If only I could decide on a car to use I could start thinking about set ups, strategy, lines....:p
