No Longer seeing 3 Qualifying Sessions in any Modern F1 Mods

I currently have 4 F1 mods installed (CTDP 2005, F1 Champions 2006, F1 Extreme 06 & FSONE) and I thought some other mod I installed screwed up the qualify sessions because I no longer have 3 qualifying sessions in ANY of those mods.

I made a clean install of rFactor to a different folder and only installed the CTDP 05 mod but still only have one qualifying session when I go to a race. Same thing after installing the F1 Extreme mod. At the Race details window, the Qualify Session 3 box is checked. But that's all that shows up in the race menu screen. It goes from Practice 1 right to Qualify 3.

How can this be possible with a clean install of rFactor in a seperate folder with no other mods? Would I have to remove both installations of rFactor? Is the registry for the second installation the same as the first one?

Don't panic, I am sure there is a logical explanation. You used to have the three part qualifying and now you don't in any of your mods. So it is an entry in either the rfm folder or your PLR file. In 2005 there was no 3 part qualifying so the problem could be related to CDTP's 2005 mod. It is possible that there is a file it writes that upsets or interacts with your other F1 mods. Try removing all the files associated with CDTP's 2005 F1 mod and just use 2006 F1 mods and see what happens. It shouldn't be too difficult to find an answer to this without doing any more installs or anything too drastic. It may take a bit of time and detective work though.

I removed all CTDP files and installed the F1 2006 Extreme mod. I still couldn't see 3 qualifying sessions.

Then I made a backup of the locations folder and just uninstalled/reinstalled rFactor. It was no big deal since I've only had it installed for one week anyway and all mods are saved to another HD.

I installed the F1 Extreme 20006 mod but still only get one qualy session. :confused: I think I'm losing my mind here. I know that I was seeing 3 qualy sessions at some point in the past week.

the rfm file for the F1Extreme mod looks like this but I see nothing for the number of qualifying sessions, only length:

No I can't say I ever have but I've never been one for qualifying as the AI have an unfair advantage in many cases. I just start on the second or third row, lose 5 places at the start and get the pleasure of overtaking them again.

Actually, the same thing happened to me! Though, I tried to fix/change allowing fuel changes made after qualifying. Cuase, you only get gallons/liters remaining after you post a Q lap... I sometimes start off w/only enough fuel for 3 laps....!
