Qualifying will start at 9pm UK time (20:00GMT), with the actual race starting at ~ 9:25pm UK

As this is an open series, there is no 'sign up', and places will be given on a first come/first served basis as people join the server.

Not sure which car I'll take.
Will it be the Cobra, GT40 or the Elan...
I'll be attending as well, eventough I have a hard time getting round Imola with all those darned chicanes.
I've decided on the Cobra for tonight. After checking out Joel's 2.09.xxx I decided for myself I'd be happy if I could do a 2.10.9xx. So this afternoon I worked myself down from a 2.15.xxx to a 2.10.9xx. :cool:
All content with myself I check the hotlaps again to find out Joel dropped down to 2.08.0xx! :eek: Oh well.. ;)

Wow! First race wasn't good at all, but in second..Renault power did it! :D
I gave my best out there, managed to get 1.15.6 in race! Hope to race with you again soon. THX for the race, although as somebody said it was more like a cruise on a sunny Sunday. LOL
Went bad, first race a really bad downloaded setup, with far too much front brake bias.
Second race in an Alpine, for some reason there was no speed at all.
Hopefully next time I'm a better contender. And I will ;)

First race started well, made a couple of mistakes, ended up fourth.
Second race, everyone decided to drive something slow and I just drove away from everyone running an endurance race pace instead of a sprint. Surprisingly enough, relaxing and cruising around, I pretty much ran my qualifying pace for almost the entire race. One mistake and onto the grass for a couple of seconds at Tosa about 3/4 of the way through, but other than that, a drive in the park.
With no one in charge of the server, the second race started 35 minutes later than it was supposed to start (we all behaved and didn't vote it into the next session, but we should have).
...cruising around, I pretty much ran my qualifying pace for almost the entire race...

Yeah, if y'all would stop trying to pass me coming into the corners I could just cruise around fast! :rolleyes:
Race 1 GT40. Got pole due to Pero & Joel deciding to start from the back. BillS made a better start but went off at the 2nd chicane handing me the lead. But only lasted until Tosa when I was a bit slow on the exit & Pero ran into the back of me & I spun. Resumed nearly last & worked my way through the field to take the lead when Pero slowed & let me through. Then followed a couple of nerveracking laps with him on my tail until I made the inevitable mistake & Pero & Joel were gone. With their dice up front I started to gain on them, but was pushing too hard & another 'off' saw BillS through before the end. I'm sure you finished 3rd Bill, not 4th.
Race 2 E-type. Used the setup from Goodwood which in hindsight was a mistake because the car didn't like the slow corners, very understeery. Chased Filip's Alpine for about 3 laps. He was soooo quick through the chicanes that I could only just catch him on the straights. Anyway after several off course excursions & finally spinning in front of a flat out tminus, I decided to admit defeat & retire.

Yeah, sorry 'bout hitting you that hard Geoffers. I kept to the right when I saw you in the grass at the left side of the track. When you pulled onto the track I lifted and swerved left assuming you were heading for the racing line.
I had a decent first race. I even lead for a lap or two till I got cought up by the faster drivers. I improved my PR by a full second trying to keep up with Pero.
Second race was a complete disaster. Spun out in the first chicane, after which my Cobra developed some sort of magnetic attraction to Johans Alpine. After hitting Geoffers I did a few more laps, but the Cobra was really difficult to handle so I retired.
