Hi... I've seen various wheels referred to in these posts, with the G25 and DFP coming out in top (I think)... I'm currently using an old Microsoft FF Sidewinder, which is pretty good - but do you think I could would get any advantage, and more importantly, a better experience by upgrading to a more recent wheel? Thanks in advance..
I do believe you can improve your driving experience with a new wheel, especially if it has more detailed features than your current one, like the G25 with clutch (great pedals in general) and H-shifter. Good upgrades are the G25, MOMO Racing, DFP and Thrustmaster RGT. The question is: what's your budget?

thanks Dzul... budget's not too much of a p[roblem within reason.. I think the G25 is about £200 which would be OK I guess if it's really worth it... only problem is the desk that i use.. it has one of those slide out trays that the keyboard fgoes on which is where the wheel has to attach, and if the wheel is too heavy duty then that wouldnt work I dont think??

if you've got the money mate get the G25. im just upgrading my DFP to the G25 because the DFP pedals are cheap and nasty inside and failed on me. i tried to rebuild them over and over but they have far too much play in the pots on the pedal axis

£167.95 for next day delivery as well ;)

.....as for the desk you have bud, i'm sure once you've somehow had a try of the wheel you'll create something to house it more permanently :roflmao: ....believe me, you will hehe :)
yeah, i also did, i had this slide out keyboard holder as well, i made some strengthening to it from the bottom with 2 wooden stick from one side to another, and that solved the wobbling for me.
I would also support you to go for the G25, niiiice wheel. :)
