No idea what this circuit is like, never even had an offline race on it, so big question mark for me.

Great circuit - as a NASCAR fan I've known it for a long time - it's relatively easy to learn, this version is much faster than it actually is, so it's way more fun!

Exclamation GP to LONG layout???

Hi guys,

I think that the Long version would be better. Remembered wrong that GP is the one with the buss stop but it's the Long version that has buss stop.

On GP version the car is redlining a long long time so in race if some one starts on low engine life he can't realy keep goin flat out.

That is a good point that i had overlooked. Looks like we will need to run long instead

Yeah the long straight is useless for us anyway - rev limiter half way down the straight!

Car reaches its limits too soon for the straight to have any effect other than ruining the engine. Wrong car for this track, or is it the other way around?

Yeah i didnt expect the car to be hitting its limiter so quickly on this track. Like WPS said it seems the GTR2 version of this track is more "open" than some other versions we may be used to.

Usualy when it's set to Dry it begins with 20 or a bit more and goes up during the race

Q: 2

I think my best lap was within .05 of my best possible - so I'm pretty happy, but Peter was still better!

R: 2

Very happy with that!
Got off the line ok, but lost 2nd to Seyli - going up into the busstop I didn't want to make it 3 wide, so I braked a tiny bit early and might have caught Jay out a bit, he got inside and I conceeded and went grassward! Only to see him spinning into my view - very sorry to probably cause all that Jay.
It seems whenever we get close on track, we screw each other up trying to be too nice!
And it sucks that you got DisCoed too - the way the race was ended up I think it would've been you and me fighting for 2nd.

Anyway, Seyli and Peter raced hard early on, I was about 2 secs behind - truetom was right behind me. Seyli dropped back and his pace dropped off a bit and bunched us up - I tried a few times but couldn't get passed, luckily for me he made a mistake and I got by.
Pulled away slowly at first, but then managed to eek out about 4 seconds before they made contact and left me all alone!

Tried to make an impression on Peter, but generally he pulled out between .2 and .6 each lap! And he pulled off the win easily congrats PB.

Nobody said we'd be racing against a Porsche Factory Driver!!

Happy with 2nd though - would love to see some more drivers in, because the racing is epic even with 7 people.

Seya at the next one

had a good quali lap 5th.
lost one place at the start and tried to follow tt for a few laps till
he got away from me.
i was in front of bob and could maintain the 1-2 sec gap.
then jay came from behind and had not much trouble passing me , coming out of the hairpin and outbreaking me in the next corner.
end of the same lap , last corner , i almost lost it so bob could pass me before t1 and take the better of me.
a few laps later , bob lost it coming out of the hairpin and i could just avoid him and sqeeze my car between his' and the wall.
later on , i made a mistake at the busstop , william passed me but i didnt realise bob was so close and when i restarted i was in the middle of the track so bob could not avoid me and hit me so bad that his car made a loop and landed upside down.
i waited and was pleased to see he could continue without too much damage, so he could finish the race and not have a dnf because of my bad driving.
rest of the race , all the time i was following bob but could not close the gap and had to settle for 7th.
an eventfull race.

A bit of a tough result for me, good job we get a drop week!

My computer went back to desktop as i exited a corner, by the time i had got the game back up i had three wheels on the car and it was in the wall.

DNF

I think i need to put a little more time in practice for the next event because in the race i did a faster lap than my quali time!

I had a decent start but was surprised to see WPS on the brakes early for the chicane. I never intended to attempt a pass there but already i was alongside. Tried to avoid contact but lost the rear and span out.

From there i had a nice battle with Will, side by side for at least half a lap! Then i passed Bob and Verce and was closing on the battle for second. After that the accident. Hoping for better next time out.

Congrats to the podium

I would just like to say that despite some negative feedback about the mod the races themselves are proving to be filled with action and exciting. So maybe offline practising the car is a little uninspiring but the races have been great so far imo.

hey guys i got some nice racing yesterday, i made a bet with myself with the tires choise "front medium back hard" and that made the car so dificult to drive at the edge and ofcourse it made me go wide. but am happy about my driving i managed to keep peter behind me for a few laps and i could even finish 2nd if i had any settup allowing me to take it harder! after my mistake wpsracing78 passed by and trueton was coming hard on me and i decided to let him by too and put pressure on him to get my third place back! we had a fight for a few laps and at corner nr8 truetom made a mistake and i got on his back for turn 9 where i think he braked a bit early and with my speed i couldn't avoid contact "sorry mate" ! overall good week end am getting great experience for my first season ever of simracing!!! TX everybody!!!
ps: peter are u realy from porsche?

Yeah for Watkins i only did three laps before quali

Been really busy with work and when i get spare time another sim that demands lots of practice is eating it up...

But for our next race i will get into gear with this mod and try to give you a decent race!
