I am disapointed if pole is taken with that. I expect pole to be claimed with 2:17.lows or 2:16.highs.

Looking forward to Barcelona. It's a great track (even the newer version) and I seem to go well there.

Currently on 2:00.9xx offline, and 2:02.xxx on the server. So I'm probably about as quick as Kanadanmajava in the 911S (same car) last season.

Just hope I don't miss the race due to insomnia or anything else.

Somehow I got confused AGAIN and thought Wednesday was a practice race. D'Oh.

Anyhoo, I've put Catalunya on May 9 in my calendar so I'll be proper ready for that one.

Anyone know which version of the track will be used? Don't see a download on NoGrip, nor anywhere else for that matter.

Mini Drivers Notice!

There will be soon beta of Kad Mini ver 2. This update will introduce new KAD made 5 speed gearbox, but as the ratios differ a lot from 4 speed and KAD has only one set of gears per each gear, instead of whole selection of swifttune 4 speeds, update will be optional.

Beta will have single skin which has this new gearbox and Mini drivers will have chance to test it and then tell, if they want to use it, instead of the 4 speed available now.

Those Mini drivers, who want to use it, wil get their Minis (it will be enabled on their skins.) to have it before Catalunya when the official 2.0 version is released.

Here's the Beta of Ver 2.
Download this ONLY if you are driving Mini (!!) in F1 Venue Championship 2012!

1. Delete the "Mini Cooper S KAD Works" folder in GTC-TC-76 folder and extract this zip to GTC-TC-76 folder.

2. #06 Car (Shell livery) has new KAD 5 speed gearbox and #80 car (british racing green) has the old swifttune 4 speed gearbox. Please test both and decide which one you want to use for the rest of the season. (Note that you cannot load same pre-saved setup for both. Loading 4speed setup in 5speed car will make the gear ratios go nuts. You need to make the setup individually for each car)

3. post reply here, with your car number and info which one (4 speed or 5 speed) you want to use. Make the post before 1st of May, 18:00 BST. (non-posters cars will be using same old 4 speed gearbox.)

The eventual Ver 2.0 KAD Mini will be released as soon as the drivers have chosen their gearbox and It will include all skins (plus several more) used by the racers in this series. (I and motorFX will make sure that your skin, will have the gearbox you have wanted in your post here. beta version just has two skins to make things easy enough.)


Drivers Wanting to make own skins Notice!
Deadline for submitting skins for skinpack 2 is 1st of May, 18:00 BST. Same rules as for the first skinpack apply, except this time there's no test race so be extra careful. Also, as the Mini is getting upgraded, no skins are accepted for it this time.

Hi guys,

sorry for my unexpected break from the GTL scene.
God to see it's still alive...

After 5 1/2 weeks in hospital and 4 days at home I'm now well again and ready for driving.
Had a constant fever (+/-39°) and hard pain during breathing in my lung.
Last Saturday I woke up and it was gone. No doctor could tell me what this caused and no medicine was working.

Had the same thing nearly 20 years ago, when my father died. Took over 3 month at that time. So I think it's a psychsomatic thing.

Many posts to read for me in the forums...

Only the Mini KAD V2.0 is new for me - or is there something else I missed?

Excelent to have you back.
Too bad that I have now bronchitis and of course it is virus based, so there's no use of antibiotics... We'll see if I am racing in Catalunya


Just quick sum of things changed during your absence:
- KAD Mini updated to 2.0 (and it still needs minor fix, not affecting it's physics though, so no horry with it.)
- Skin Pack 1 is also in use: http://downloads.gamers-crib.com/Sim...-SkinPack1.zip
- Race lenght has been now same as in 2008 Season, which in case of Melbourne is just one lap less. However change is big enough to make all cars more equal. (no one is in razor's edge about surviving without extra stop.)

There has been some queries about moving next wednesday's race by one week... And as this is Matra's series now, it's up to Matra call for move.

My personal opinion is same as all the previous seasons; There's (now even 3 races which are not counted) some space in points system to racers to allow dismiss some races and that's why races aren't moved unless there's technical problem (organizer or server missing) causing the move. Reason NOT running this series by calls of racers is the lenght of season and amount of racers; if we would start moving races due request, there should be count how many races single racer can "veto" to be moved. And as there is 30 active racers, that would mean aproximately 10-15 moved races, which again would delay drastically the series and cause it eventually drop out of the original schedule. Down side of this politics is having some races with minor attendence, but then again, season shcedule has been published in March already, so everyone have had enough time to organize their schedules so that they will miss only the least meaningful three races.

As in this case, calling move on Catalunuya will mean Monaco's steel barrier hell to be just week after the Catalunya and also having 4 weeks break between bahrain and Catalunya.

however, it's Matra's call to make the decisions.
