Tracks menu GTR Evolution

Hello,

I have downloaded some tracks here and they are very nice.
But I want to put the in a different folder than the original folder of GTR Evolution (Like the folder of the tracks of 2006 and 2007).

Does someone know how to do that?

open the trackname.trk

first entrys:

SearchPath=GAMEDATA\LOCATIONS\Trackname

add and change all related tracklinks to your new foldername, like:

SearchPath=GAMEDATA\LOCATIONS\yournewfolder\Trackname

dont change links like:

SearchPath=GAMEDATA\LOCATIONS\SHARED
SearchPath=GAMEDATA\LOCATIONS\TEAMS


i dont have evo installed @ the moment.. if it doesnt work lemme know and post the first lines of the .trk.

Owi is referring to the physical location of the folder in the game structure.

If you want to change where they appear in the game menu order, you need to open the .gdb file and change the 'category=' part to reflect where you want it.

Yes, but he want to create a own folder for all addon tracks. THat way he needs to change the destination the game looks into aswell or the game will find nothing or a wrong destination.
