Just over a year ago my company made the worlds first MRI equine table for Melbourne University's Werribee Animal hospital for use in front of their new super MRI for horses. The whole MRI suite cost was quite a few mil, These horses are worth more than 5 or 6 MRI suites.
One day that might put Black Caviar on my table. Not many people have a had the pleasure of designing and building a table that had to be 100% anti magnetic to 1.5 Tesla and could hold a bag of bones worth over 100 mil. Table left no artifact in the image = success.
I think you missed my point mate.
Americain is a stallion
they go to stud, I don't know what a service would cost but it would be a lot. $100,000 probably
In France any ones guess.
As a example Bel Esprit the dad of Black Caviar costs $27,500 a service. ( he has sired 500+ foals) ...and Black Caviar was his greatest work :p
*Listed is just the Winners
Frankel keeps going the way he is would be even more in stud.
They can throw a leg over a "few" mares per day and no shortage of them.....
But with a mares
you will keep the pick of her foals (if she does that is) and keep yourself and breed from them long term.
Black Caviar was sold as a yearling for $210,000 but she had great Bloodlines her kids 3/4 would probably get a few million as I said.
But what you going to do turn her into factory churning out foals till she can't anymore. Great way to treat a horse you love and made millions from hey.
