Default GTL loses controller settings...

Hi all.

Has anyone experienced their wheel/keyboard settings going AWOL when trying to exit the garage? Its happened two or three times in the last week where I've tried to exit the pits only to find that my accelerator, left/right view, gear shift etc. are no longer linked to my driver's profile and I have to go back into Options/Controls to reset them all.

Most annoying and hopefully avoidable...

I'm using a G25 wheel, so it may be that Logitech is screwing things up somewhere, but I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling both game and Logitech software and the problem still occurs.

This has also happened with GTR and GTR-2, so maybe its just a Simbin thing.

If anyone has had a similar problem and cured it, or has any ideas how to get rid of it, I will be most grateful!

Thanks

Yes it happens.

usually Alt + F will reset the settings

if not then, it usually it comes back to life by going to the Options/Controls menu (there's also button in the garage to go there), changing the Feedback Effects value then changing it back again immediately

That's great JJC1, thanks a lot. I'll see what happens next time the controls disappear
