Here in DK the pirate "laguna" is also totally locked. It comes up with almost the same error as the one above.

Last night I was recording a video, race07 and also from outside the pc, with a normal camera. One is 1024x768, other is 720x480, both should be shown without any "crop". Then I had the idea to put them side by side on a 1920x1080 frame, but the final video looks too small if not watched in full screen on youtube. I'm just wondering if anyone here uses the full screen mode? Because if nobody uses, I will have to put both videos on a 1280x720 frame or something like that with lots of "overlay", I don't know the word for this...

What should I use? Maybe someone who makes some vids have a tip...

1080p

720p

Just use the biggest one.
Youtube will convert it for you to a few lower qualities, no worries.
However it will not make it 'better'.

You can even go for 360 or less.
To view on your wristwatch, or something.

I like the idea of a smart watch, but only if it can be on all the time, and subtle. Like an ordinary watch, but with extra functionality.

Yeah, you could have a tattoo at certain places and then set the alarm clock.
You'd always wake up 'in a good mood'. LOL.

Imagine having Blackberry-like problems

EDIT: linky in Dutch.

A cmon someone uploaded a file and now the star page is WIIIIIIDDDEEEEEE.

That because the file description is shown next to the pic and it says:

There are no spaces on the line above, I added just one to not screw this page too.

A disappointment. The schedule showed it as 45 mins, only 15.

Anyone else patiently awaiting Curiosity's arrival on Martian surface?
If so, you can keep up with it's super-duper fast yet painstakingly slow voyage there with Nasa's Eyes on the Solar System site.

Contains lots of other information as well besides the Mars Science Laboratory status.

*Info: You need to install the prompted Unity Web Player for it to work, but if you're interested in Nasa's missions you won't regret it.

I am a grumpy old git.

With that caveat on record, how many of you guys would disagree with my attitude to my Godson? He EARNS pocket money by doing household chores. He is only eleven so I don't believe that I ask too much. He earns 10p for each cup of tea or coffee he makes for me or his Mum when they are in my abode. He earns 10p for each bag of garbage he takes from my kitchen to the communal bin outside.

Am I expecting too much of an eleven year old who goes to 'Big School' in September after summer break?

Hey you grumpy old git, as you know I have a 7 yo son here,
and he earned 1 euro last weekend, he washed & vacuumed my car.

Next day he brought the neighbours kid who is in his class,
and those 2 7&8yo kids made 5 euros. They washed a lot of cars.
They dragged the neighbours out and washed their cars too.

What I do is provide a vacuumcleaner, bucket, car-soap, a bunch of sponges and the garden hose.
The cars even get quite clean as I taught him how to do it.

This year I will teach him to 'bill me': write down what he did and then hand it in at the end of the week.
I think better this way than just giving a weekly allowance/pocket money.

An 11 year old should be expected to help out in the house anyway.
My kids help set the table, wash dishes, etcetera. I did that when I was a kid too.

Default Odd, or is it?

I just did a Google search for information about fleas.
Included in the results was a reference to a child-rapist.
I guess the algorithm rates them at the same social level.

If this new generation has an affection towards rolling and mountainsides, who am I to stand in their way?

Seeing as this is random comments being posted I thought I'd drop my 2 cents.. I wonder why nissan is using Altima instead of the GTR in the V8 super cars series.. Thusfar all their major race cars have been GTRs (apart from the juke powered failiure mobile that was called deltawing)

I guess because the GTR is a $200,000 supercar and since most people who watch V8 Supercars are in the market for a family car they feel the Altima is the best model to advertise.

A GTR Would be nice but they'd need to cut 2 extra doors into it to make a sedan...

True enough though I think that tas would be more suited to the normal skyline GT350/infinity G35 because from what I saw the altima is more luxury sedan

Well the new Altima is supposedly to be priced at around $30,000 so it'll be in the same category as Ford Falcons, Holden Commodores and Toyota Camry's. Doesn't seem to be a luxury car as such.

Edit: A new Infiniti seems to be about $70-100,000 over here.

I wonder, is there a first person shooter out there somewhere in which magazines don't magically refill themselves from their common bullet pool?

For all the "realism" modern shooters claim to have, I find that to be quite a flaw.

Edit: I guess there are such things, BF2 and ARMA it seems.
Anyone know of any others?
