Hi guys,
F1-VRC-2012 news: -> first post now updated with the link to the Montreal video by toergisch Quote:
-> What do you guys think about a "summer-break" event at the Nordschleife (VLN) on Wednesday 08. or 15. August '12 ...? To avoid looong boring lonesome racing I would suggest two 3 laps races. In the second race the top ten have to start from the back. regards Matra-Rancho ...and remember this: Quote:

For our Nordschleife (VLN) event, might I suggest we use this vers from GTR4U by Mojo. It's a lot prettier than Dutch Devil' s - although exellent - a little long in the tooth now - version. We've used it a couple of times for 6 laps races in SNR with no problems at all - there's 3 versions in the same folder including VLN. Nice FPS too

Hi M-R,
this one > NORDSCHLEIFE V2.0? Is there a big difference to the "Nordschleife 2007 V2.21 RC4" from Altbierbude? Searching after different Nordschleifes I found a "Nordschleife '75" @Altbierbude. Perfect time period for our cars. But I have to test it first. regards Matra-Rancho |

Old link anyhow. The 2007 V2.21 version is the one I'm talking about - just took a look in my locations folder and that's the one.I've been driving about on the 75 vers recently - not done more than a 2 laps racing - but it's very nice, not as pretty as V2.21 though

Merc goes 14 laps/tank ( with only fuems in tank), but I think 28 lap race will be ok.

Whenever I have a problem, Gigabyte and Nappe sorry for the accident was my fault.
I started the race with some lag but it was believed that unless and could run but after what happened but it is worth while to go before causing another accident. Sorry about the truth and I hope you can finish in a good position. Regards |

Not a good one tonight. Had to reboot several times during quali because of graphics corruption, managed a good lap a couple of minutes before the start then spun in front of Malcolm and it killed the engine when he hit me. Sorry Malc
Will be missing next week as well.

Grat for You DC!
I made one good race, without big mistake. Daz and me made very, very close last lap to the second position. That was great Daz, and grat for You. I saw only purple cloud, and Ipushed to my little Mini, but it was not enought now. But I'm happy. |

Sorry for leaving during the race but sometimes you realise there is something else that needs to be done first.
I was just about to catch the group with Geoff but I had to go. |

Unfortunately, while "Lap by lap" statistics show me leaving the accident scene last (getting DNF that is, not by big margin though) the results show me as 29th. Like cherry on top of last evening's my personal real life version of les miserables. It is pretty close me to start my summer break already. No worth of hunting down these single points per race. They do not make any difference to my own, nor the team's, nor the manufacturers championship. |

I came very late to the quali with 6min to go.
Set a safe lap with 2:25,1 and tried a flying lap afterwards. Had -1,2 secs after second sector, but was unfortunately held up by an Escort (sorry that I pushed you in my quali-hurry!). So I started the race at pos16 some positions behind the fast GTAms of Flash and Petemate. Had a good start and the three GTAm were tight together. Unfortunately I pushed yavvedo in the first lap and the waiting made me losing contact to Flash and Petemate. Had a nice fight with yavvedo for pos13, but from lap 5 on he could pull away. At the end of the first stint Yavvedo and Flash both spun and I could overtake them. Held up Flash a bit (sorry mate) and we came to pit together at lap 14 (having no big choice with the small GTAm tank), had the same pitstop time (first race without tire change) and exited the pit together. Unfortunately I pushed Geoffers a bit at the last turn. I slowed down at the SF straight but did not wait for him until he overtake me because I expected him to catch up anyway (he was capable of faster laptimes) and then letting him pass. As this didn't happen (he must have spun again?!) I feel a bit bad about it afterwards, so again, sorry Geoffers, this was not very Gentleman-like of me. Had a nice fight with Flash and Woody, but was pretty alone, when Woody pitted and Flash spun. Tried to catch the group of Frex, Petemate and Senyorlobo and pushed like hell with fading tires, but they were to fast unfortunately, so I ended on pos8. Grats pod and all Alfa drivers ![]() Thanks for racing! Greetz Clemens Last edited by 1750gtv; 21 June 12 at 09:49. |

& was amazed that it still drove perfectly after all the abuse it took. In the end I was just happy to get to the finish.By the way, are all the Alfas the same? Because I was able to stay with Clemens & Petemate's Alfas on the straights but Flash's Alfa just drove away from me! ![]() Congrats to DC, Daz & Zsoca |

Once again i was from miles away the slowest Alfa of the grid. I don't know what's wrong with me driving the Alfa
Grats to the other Alfa drivers who did a fantastic job, awesome driving! I started from the back, but had i nice battle with Dan, Dinger, Woody, and other drivers during the first stint. Yesterday i had a great time and brought a few points to the team, that's what matters to me ![]() Looking forward to the next one! Cheers, De Martini |

I have to say I enjoyed that one more than I was going to other than yet another coming together on lap one...I guess that's what comes of being in the middle of a big grid
. Good battle with Rob, just needed one more lap....

Hi guys,
F1-VRC-2012 News: > After watching the replay I must say I was not amused about the first corners. ![]() How hard can it be to learn that a race isn't only the first two corners? I will be on my own summer break, starting after the Silverstone and returning in second week of august. So most likely missing Hockenheim and Hungaroring.
