2008 GrandAm Prototypes v0.91 by Alexi99 not working

The ProtoRacer Series by Fool 1njection works fines.

Loaded the GrandAm Prototypes gamedata folder as per instructions. GTR2 boots, no problem. Select the car, but none of them are visible in the showroom. Hitting the continue button causes a CTD.

The ProtoRacer series still works, and all cars are visible in the showroom. Both files are from this site. This question was asked back in 2009, but was never answered.

You're obviously missing at least one .HDC file (boy, I'm observant this morning...), which, if I understand the file structure correctly, is the backbone of each car (side note - if the car isn't in the showroom view, it's not installed correctly). I'd go back and look at the download files...if the .HDC isn't in there somewhere, the problem is found. What to do about it from there, I dunno...aside from trying to contact the mod builder, but if there wasn't an answer to this in '09, you may be out of luck.

- edit - do you also have the Protoracer Revolutions Mod installed? Apparently the GrandAm mod is also dependent in it.

Thx for the response.

I did notice that after reading the posted notes 3 times. There wasn't any mention of the Revolutions file in the readme. I got the file, just haven't been able to check it out. Probably later tonight.

Still trying to learn the file structure in the ProtoRacer Series, which by the way works fine. I did notice, the only ".hdc" files in there are for the tires. Trying to find out if they share some attributes of another vehicle.

I'll keep digging. Let you know how I made out...

There is an update to this. GrandAm Revolutions, which (at 102mb) combines GT and DP cars into one final mod. The link in the readme file in the v.91 mod goes to an old, nonexistant location. I will get you the "Revolutions" version (v1.00) uploaded.
