Default Download for HistorX ver.1.0?

Hi guys. I've recently re-installed r-factor and didn't like the handling in the HistorX 1.9 update and want to go back to the origonal version. I found a torrent for version 1.1, but it is a patch version (asking me to unzip into ver 1.0 folder) rather than complete install. Can anyone point me toward either a complete 1.1 installer or a ver 1.0 installer.
Any help appreciated, thanks!

Legend.

EDIT: Btw, how was the reception in general towards 1.9? I was super excited about the new american muscle cars, but the handling felt really console / arcade like, with the back end auto oversteering into the corners. Was this just my experience of the update?

I didn't care for 1.9 either.

If you don't mind downloading it in parts, there are some links here:

Strange, most people report the opposite, at least with small 60s cars like alfa. Really, most cars have less grip in 1.9 so I don't see where this arcade handling would come from.
It takes a bit getting used to, and there are more bugs in 1.9 unfortunately but overall it's worth a try.
You have to do another install just for that, though. Wouldn't recommend just installing over 1.0.
I was a bit disappointed too few times, but now I would never go back to 1.0.

I'm no expert but I would say 1.9 is far more realistic both in sound & handling.

1.01 is more finish mod then 1.9.
1.01 is a more stable version

Its a shame that 1.9 gained mixed reputation, it is still one of the BEST mods ever, no doubt about that.
It just feels like they took slightly bigger task than they could manage, like some cars with bad AI and too easy to overheat brakes or protos with ill handling.
Its not like the mod is crashing to desktop or similar big issue. Its good.

I'd love to try 1.9, but can't find my dang CD for the disk check! Vacation today, so maybe it's time for a search & seizure...

1.01 has been fun, but its got some physics boo-boos. Power&Glory is much better in that regard.

I certainly have no complaints about v1.9. Only got it, really, for the 'birdcage' Maserati's. Like the Mercedes 300 SLR coupe, too. But having a ball with the whole thing!
