Spa 2008 converted from the GTR2 version by Monsoon.

Well, Those are sites I've never visited and I can't find the track itself there as I don't understand german or french and I'm not a member so can't access the downloads.

Although after watching the youtube video I realise that you are correct.

I made this conversion a few weeks back and asked permission from Monsoon to release. I apologise if I've trodden on anyones toes with this.

I genuinely converted it myself not realising it had already been done. I thought I'd be doing people a favour by sharing it.

If you've already got a Spa 2008 track for the game, don't download this one as it's converted from the same GTR2 track as the other one.

Sorry to all if I've wasted anyones time.

No need to apologize, imho. It's better to have more than a single conversion of the same track, instead of nothing at all.

@triskele10: have you compared both versions - I mean, not only the textures and the tracks layout, but also the .gdb, .cam and .aiw files - before concluding 'they are the same'?
I haven't - yet. So, I don't know - yet.
However, I have no reasons to doubt about pitkin's authenticity. We should encourage people to share their work instead of criticizing them for releasing something similar to somebody else's.
One thing is certain: Spa 2008 for Race07 series was not available at NoGrip before pitkin posted his. It is, now. Thank you, pitkin.

Very often if something is published but it's not posted on Nogripracing or Racedepartment there is something fishy with permission/credits stuff. That's why having something on NGR means it's absolutely OK. So thanks pitkin because I visit many race-game related sites, though haven't found Spa 2008.

You know, this is what I love about the NoGripRacing community, everyone's so nice and supportive (well, most of the time anyways).

Just reinstalled my Race07/Evo package on a new computer and downloading some tracks that I don't have. I think I missed this one before. Downloading now.

For example, did Monsoon make this from scratch, or did he start off with something else, modify it then release it?
