![]() This summer, the IMSS league at Race2Play.com is hosting a few exhibition races based on the FIA Group 2 and Group 4 sports cars from the mid 1970's ("GTC-76" Category). We've setup these exhibition events to get a better sense of how much interest there would be in a full championship in our current Euro and US friendly time slot. Here's a quick summary of of the exhibition events:
This January we successfully hosted the Super Touring Cup for Race07 drawing over 20 international drivers per race. Our goal is to create the same amount buzz for a full championship using GT legends starting this Fall, with new cars and new tracks. But before we can commit resources to this project, we want to assess the level of interest in GT Legends beginning with these exhibition events. Of course, the best way to show your interest, is to join our summer fun-races and tell you friends about it too. You can review the complete schedule for the Vintage GT Endurance Exhibition Series on the series page at Race2Play.com by clicking: HERE. For your convenience, we have also prepared a "GT Legends FAQ" to help you get your copy of GT Legends up to date and running. Even if you're a GT Legends veteran, I would still recommend reviewing the FAQ to make sure you've maximized your performance. You can find the document linked: HERE. If you're already a member of Race2Play.com, you can send me an email from my account linked: HERE. If you're not a member of Race2Play.com, you can very easily get started by creating a free account here: HERE. Last edited by Tenacious E; 24 June 12 at 17:33. Reason: Image size rule. 187.7 KB |

![]() Just a reminder that we're 1 week away from the first round of our Vintage GT Exhibition Series. Over half the grid is filled, but we still have some space for additional entries into our series. If you're already a member of Race2Play.com, you can send me an email from my account linked: HERE. The Race to Play site is very slow atm - it's taking an age to accept my membership?

Hello guys - thanks for the interest.
Aramid - you're correct we're just using the stock skins for now. The R2P official has asked us to "keep it simple" until we can prove there's a demand for the series -- which is why we organized three non-points exhibition events instead of a complete championship. If these events prove popular, I'm looking forward to using some add-on skins and new cars to spice it up and setup a Fall championship (Sept to Dec).I think I received your email on the 25th - are you Henry? I sent you a invitation but didn't get a response. Let me know if you would like me to resend you the invititation. Malcom - similarly, let me know if you're still having problems getting your account setup, I'm happy to help you. |
