You are the man! The game has been freezing and crashing on me lately for no reason. Not sure if it's my CD drive or the CD itself, which is pretty old. All is well now. Mille grazie.

Please help I'm looking for GTR2 version 1.0 no DVD patch. I purchased GTR2 over the internet from Thailand and the update 1.1.0 and 1.1.0 no DVD patch won't work. I installed the 1.1.0 update but I still have to start the game with the DVD. It starts and plays fine with the DVD But I would like to play it without the DVD

Thanks for this. No problems installing and running with1.1.0. Really pleased with faster boot and that I don't have wear my my well worn CD any longer.

One puzzle though, the small change I made to allow the seat to be moved further forward on the 350Z no longer works? Not a big problem, just odd, only run offline.

My mate is working on one for StarForce protected games, but it is proving very difficult. He may also create a community v1.2.0.0 patch with all the cars from 2005 as well - if I beg him enough!

This works fine on his laptop.

I get an error message as well... it tells me that the application has failed to start because binkw32.dll was not found??? Tells me to re-install the application to fix.

What is the binkw32.dll???

Sorry but someone fill me in why is there a thread for a NO DVD for GTR2
when other sims NO DVD threads have been closed Both no DVD are from the same site by the same author.
