Have found several of these with varied prices -some not that expensive-, and was thinking myself how come I have never seen anybody try to do a simracing pedal set with this ... have you seen one?

![]() funny 3 days ago i have talked about modding a real pedal for sim racing. for it to work, we do need something that can "translate" your driver input you to digital imput. Like "fanatec" does with magnets for a very precise measurements over the hole spectrum. But the bottom line is, if you want to use one of those pedal that are use IRL you should look at a price range of about some of the expensive sets +- 10-20£ but then again the pleasure of doing it yourelf and geting to work outweight the prize of just buying a set. But all i all not a bad idea

As for the pedal, I have seen a guy construct a terrific set using a real brake pump lined to a brake piston that pushes the brake pads against the load cell (Now that's clever!).

Attaching a pot (Magnetic or not) to each pedal directly or via a linkeage should be quite easy. Hell, in fact you probably could do a great set with the electronics of 2nd hand logitech pedals

Ahhh haha I knew it ... those pedals are too good to be missed by any enterpreneuring hardware tinkerer
![]() I guess price will however be quite expensive, even more than CST? Any web one can check to see more info and details about them?

I'd like to know the price as well...doesn't mean that I can pay the price right now, but I'm still curious.
