Guys I don't know how many of you use Google Chrome which is imo way faster than any other browser not to mention more practical, the thing is in the last few weeks I started receiving an error message every time I try to access any google based page and even my hotmail account. It says the 'certificate' of that page is too 'weak' or something and won't let me proceed. Many other people are having the same issue as I discovered doing some research on google.
The strange thing is that it only happens on my Win7 32bit install/partition. On my Win7 64bit partition Chrome works just fine. The trouble is I prefer to use the 32bit version for compatibility issues. Has anyone been having this same problem? Any solutions other than setting the clock right? Thx in advance! |

...never heard of it.
With that said, I've quit Google Chrome long ago. If you like its speed and functionalities, perhaps have a go with SRWare Iron (aka Iron Browser). It's also based on Chromium Sourcecode. In other words, and in my own experience, it's pretty much the same thing, just better. Perhaps even faster, and without any problems at privacy and security. It has been working flawless here and, for sure, the fastest internet browser I've used, even with plenty of the available plug-ins/extensions installed and functioning. Ok, I have Iron Browser installed and can report it's a whole lot better than any other browser out there right now!! The certificate issue is gone and all that's left from Chrome is it's speed.

...see? It is really good. I think the only problem with Iron -which ironically is also an advantage- is being the direct (and better) alternative to a product that is under a "very big/powerfull label", widely marketed, hugely publicized, and already popular. It's difficult to reach, then convince, every user of bigger size competition when you're little, even you offer a better product. One of those "try and see for yourself" gems. |
