Hi,
a little bump here... Quote:
Because the Alfa Romeo has the same fuel range as the Mercedes every fast Alfa driver is also welcome for doing some fuel investigations. regards Matra-Rancho EDIT: I think the question is 26 or 27 laps for the race... Last edited by Matra-Rancho; 28 June 12 at 21:17. |

Congrats to top 20.
Seriously, best result in 3-4 races. After this I never practice. Collected 2 x Stop And Go in lap 21 and race was over. Leader was +4 laps and even next guy +1 lap. cruised to the finnish with rather low fuel consumption (2.9 liters per lap) Yet, my summer vacation starts here. I have not yet decided, when I come back, but I will definetely miss 2 next races. My motivation is rather low right now and I only can see myself falling even more behind rest of the pack due not touching the game during next two months, so we'll see when I decide return. IF Nürburgring event is longer than these races and IF it is driven with REAL Mod and IF it's no earlier than second week of August, I might show up in Jag, but I would not count on it. |

Race report:
Did a new PB in qualy with a 2:26,167 which was 1/1000 sec faster then my teammate Fla$H ![]() So I started from pos 12. My start was good, but in the first half of the first lap I was bumped a few times and lost some positions. Fought my way back and benefited by the spins of some others. Had an epic fight with Malcolm in his Porsche, thanks!! He was a bit faster, but every time he overtook me on the long straight I could outbrake him on the right hander before the pit entry. At lap 14 he again overtook me on the straight and I didn't try my outbraking maneuver because I wanted to pit. But he went to pit too and braked very early at the pit entry where I could overtake him again ![]() I think unlike me he did change his tires, because I left the pits some seconds earlier then him. When I came out I had Flash in front of me, who got a 15 sec lead in the first stint but pitted one lap earlier. But he pulled away again, great driving mate! But then he must have had a cut track or something, because he had to pit again, so I was fastest Alfa in the race as Petemate was some seconds behind me. The last laps were pretty lonesome, was only overtaken by DC (which didn't need much time as he was much faster) and gained one position as Geoffers, who was uncatchable in front of me, had to pit too, so I ended the race on pos 8 which is a great result for me and the Alfa. Grats to the podium and all Alfa drivers and thanks all for racing. Greetz Clemens |

Great racing with Flash in first stint; then some good laps also with Petemate in the second. Bit annoyed i gave up the place near the end when i got distracted by a dust cloud from somone going off up ahead. Could have been close last lap but i spun and lost another place to my team-mate
![]() Fun race though, congrats podium. @ Clemens - sorry for bumping you. I got a little bump from behind myself and went off track, and as i came back on i did not see you there at all. Also got disorientated and lost track of the corners - all a bit messy, sorry. |

I was very surprised by my 4th spot on the grid. But POrsche is good in mid and high speed corners so Silverstone is good for us.
I started well and DC and I ssplit the Cale and cap7 and fought for T1. I had it but lost it, cold tyres, too hard steering in and a late change to spring settings...............woosh, back to 23d! After some more bad moves I was in 28th and last place. I always do this. Well, with 3 S&G and a pit stop I wasn't going places but was lucky enough to be able to catch some cars like nappe's and on the last lap Wilb. He made room for cap who I was following with my fresh tyres. I waited till Wilb took his place back but at Beckett's he went off. It's never too late to gain a place and always a pleasure. ![]() I almost influenced the fight at the top. Cale was about to lap me after Luffield. I had a wobble and he hit me. Luckily he didn't lose to much time when cap arrived. I managed to stay in front of cap for a while but went off so he passed. Of course I didn't get in the way. I had nothing better to do in 22th place than to foloow him. It worked but at Brokklands I was very late on the brakes and almost spun him around while he was only seconds away from Cale. It all went well though and I stayed a bit further away. Fun track although I still find the new section horribly fabricated. To me it feels like a couple of random airfiled roads stuck together, not natural at all. But at least we don't have to drive the 'old' complex at Luffield anymore. I miss bridge though!!! |

I was very pleased with my P6 in qually, the Porsche felt really good as Casper says. A little trail braking help me turn in a bit better at the risk of over doing it
![]() Had a good start and with a bit of a tangle weaving through the tyre smoke at turn 1, I was into 3rd place What's more I was keeping my pace too. Just about keeping up with Cap and Cale - but even pulling away slightly from the rest of the field without trying too hard. But inevitably on the second lap on the entrance to Luffield, mind drifted slightly and I overcooked the brakes a tad - tail began to slide and my inside wheel found those lumps on the curb which sent me round Had to wait for a lot of cars to get by and ended up in the mid teens - but I had some great battling from then on ...... most notably with Rob in his Skyline (Brilliant fun)![]() I only fuelled up - no tyres but I still find the pit sheet very clunky to use - need more practice with that. Rest of the race was slightly less eventful - apart from a number of stupid needless spins - which led to 2 S/G's I still had the pace though as I kept up with Daz when he lapped me, and almost kept up with Cale & Cap before that. Just made far too many silly mistakes with my mind wondering again![]() Great race though all the same - well done all. |

A good start, gain a few positions quickly. In second lap I'm in third place. Surprise for that!
![]() After that could not keep Daz, Jotapu and Zsoca attacks, and soon go down to 6th place. From there, I tried to keep a good pace to get some advantage over the back group (Geoffers, Frex, flash and clemens). When make my pit stop I have 18 sec about Frex. All went fine. I gained a new position cause zsoca got an sng. In last 5 laps my wheels go down and my time lap go down too. The last lap DC fight to overtake me, but fortunately he don't passed me. ![]() Another race in 5th position. A great result for me. I know that not the faster guy on te grid, but try to be constant in race with no mistakes. Happy for that. See you on the track! Jose (senyorlobo) Last edited by senyorlobo; 6 July 12 at 23:18. |

Hi guys,
after many days of fighting with a video maker progam I finished my first video. It's from the Silverstone race. Sadly I could not upload it as a video, because of the copyright stupidity. I'm not against copyrights, but when I payed for a LP/CD this should include the right to use the songs for a private movie. So it's a rar-archiv. F1-VRC-2012 News: > Video from the Silverstone race released -> link see post #1 > The race in Silverstone was a great event with 28 racers. The racing in the first laps was much better than in Valencia. Hope we're doing this again in Hockenheim, maybe still better... > ...and again I need Dr. Fuel in his Mercedes 300SEL to tell me how many laps are possible at Hockenheim GP. I guess +/-32 laps. > Summer-break event @Nordschleife -> 15.Aug.12: What do you think about to race the (TC-65) REAL-Mod (Div.2) cars we used in the 2nd F1-VRC season? Do you want one long race (6-8 laps) or two short ones (3-4laps)? If we have two races: Race2 the race1 top-ten finishers start from the back. Hope there is some interest in the summer-break event... Race invitation for the next race will follow tomorrow. HockenheimGP is an orig. GTL track - so no download this time. regards Matra-Rancho |

Thanks for the video Matra
However, I'm shocked to see I knocked DC in the first corner . From my point of view in the race there was no car there at all. I had the odd bit of graphical weirdness in that race, I remember Nappe1 appeared as just a shadow (and occasionally just a set of wheels) after I remembered to turn the tags on, so I assume DC was invisible (or a shadow) to me as well. I'm now worried that these two might not have been the only ones I couldn't see, so I hope I didn't hit anyone else (I've not watched the replay yet). DC, you have my apologies. |

So sorry for pushing you off Woody - just bad driving - plus some tiredness of doing earlies from 5 am 6 mornings a week
![]() Rant coming up: Sorry Matra & Nappe - but I hate this track. I hated it when I first got GT Legends all those years ago and I hate it even more now I hate those nasty hairpins that brake up any flow which the track might have had without them. I hate the way the kerbs unsettle the car so much even at low speeds. I hate that it used to be one of the greatest race tracks in the world untill it got butchered into a go kart track.Rant over: Normal service is now resumed

Had a good come back race lastnight in the Beemer (Havent raced in this league for 3 months or so), even though the result wasnt so great. Was very surprised with my pace in quali, qualifying in 9th position. Had a very good start and was up to 5th place going through turns 3 and 4. Kimi really showing the power of the Merc down the straights. Had a good dice with the 2 Nissan KGC's, had to make use of some very defensive driving but in the end they got past. I spun exiting turn 4, which ended in me hitting the wall and damaging the front suspension and bodywork, that ended any possibility of a good result, and then also a stop go penalty to top it all off. I came out the in 22nd place and managed to fight my way up to finish in 16th place.

Race report:
Good qualy. 7th to 1,8 sec of Cale (Alien) time. The first laps trying to pass Jason. Finally overtook him in lap 5. On my pit stop have and sng for speed limit and lost my options to finish in top 6. Finally 9th. Congrats podium and all finishers, specially to FLASH , I see your lap times and amazing! Very good! Grats too to Mai Por that finished the race and his lap times was good. ![]() Bad luck to my teammate, De Martini that stalled your car in lap 15. See you next wednesday. Cheers! |

Race report:
I do not like Hockenheim track either, although it is next to my place and I drove with my Alfa some times there (mostly Hockenheim Short). Despite a new PB I started only from pos 14, with Alfa-mate FLA$H 0,8 secs faster and on pos 10. Had a very good start, but as the Alfa is quite slow on the long straight lost some of my gained positions again. Closed the gap to yavvedo in the first laps, but he made his Nissan very wide and defended his position. I touched him in turn 2, he spun and I had to wait which costed about 10 secs. After I had let him pass I overtook him, squeezing the Alfa through on the inside of the Sachs corner. After that it was a lonesome race. Pitted on lap 17, and had Kimi in front of me because I assume his refuelling needs some more time, but only for a short time as he drove the Merc very quick! So the only action was watching the gaps on XD. At the end my front left tire lost performance and jotapu came from behind, overtook me on the long straight at the last lap but braked to late for the hairpin, so I was through again. Great action mate! At the end I had pos 7, which is a great result with the GTAm. I think the pos 5 of my teammate FLA$H in his GTAm is like standing on the podium, grats mate! Forza Autodelta! Thanks for racing! Greetz Clemens |

After being practicing for a couple of weekends, i switched to full manual (manual clutch + H shifter), obviously i'm not fully skilled yet
![]() Came late to quali so i could only do one hot lap, that was 1 sec. slower than my pb. Started from the back of the grid as expected, which means getting involved in lots of incidents during first laps, well, no problem at all as my goal was to finish the race. After 2 sng's in my first stint, i began been lapped, then was when i made a fatal mistake. I was trying to leave some room for Woody to overlap me when noticed that i missed the braking point, therefore i blocked the wheels and spun hitting slightly Woody's car. Worst was yet to come, my car stalled in the middle of the track surrounded by a huge smoke cloud, and before i could begin the engine start procedure, Petemate crashed into me, followed by Yavvedo who hit me really hard. As a result, my car died, and Yavvedo broke suspension of his Nissan, i guess Petemate's car suffered some damage too. I'm really sorry for that guys! ![]() I hope to improve my driving skills for next race and hopefully get some points for the team. Cheers. Last edited by bluemaz; 20 July 12 at 10:54. |

So I reckon Dr.Fuel can do 19 laps with a full tank. Tell me if not. Thx. EDIT: As far as I know there is no newer layout for the Hungaroring available for GTL |

Hi Kimi,
thx for the info, but 38 laps are fine. Seems I'm getting better in wasting fuel ![]() regards Matra-Rancho |
