Question rfactor in W8 RP 64bit

Anybody found a way to get this to work in 64b???/

I haven't tried it yet. Are you saying you tried it without success? If so, did you run rFactor as admin?

if i can remember well I've run rFactor very well in Windows 7 64bits

yes,I've tried everything,including trying to register the dll files..
Although ARCA game runs great,,Simraceway is another that won't work!

I will give it a shot some time this week and report back. I assume you installed DirectX 9 right?

He's asking about Windows 8 Release Preview x64.

rFactor 1 will not run in Windows 8 if you did not save your trymedia folder from your last install.

Something about Windows 8 permissions that will not allow the trymedia folder to be created.

So if you didn't save it, it will not run in Windows 8.
