Just wanted to offer my services to any mod groups or individuals that need a tester. I have a lot of spare time, most of which I spend on several different sims.
I have Race (all add-ons), Grand Prix 3, 32K & 4, F1 Ch 99-02, GPL, CMR 1-4 & RBR - all set up on my system. I would say I have a better than average understanding of most sims, but I am nowhere near clever enough to create anything myself. So if I can be of use to anybody let me know ![]() all the best Nathan |

You can try my track if you like, it is Killarney, South Africa. I am aware of the car shadows disappearing on 2 spots of the track, but I haven't found a fix for that yet.
It is for Race07, built in Bobs Track Builder. http://www.mediafire.com/?iqta2vpz86igk00 |

Shadows disappearing suggests a surface not tagged as a shadow receiver. Double check you don't have another object using the same material name as the track. It sounds like a material with different attributes but the same material name is being drawn 1st.

Hi Goresh, thanks for the input. I will double check the materials although I have noticed that if I rotate the track, the position of these 'dead spots' moves as well, that makes me think it may be unrelated to the materials.

The section just outside the pits was easy to correct, I simply imported the track object and set it as a shadow receiver. However the 2nd smaller section has me puzzled. I even went as far as to attach it to the track section before it with no luck. I'll keep trying to sort it and if I do I'll let you know.
I might add I had thought it might be caused by Instance=t1_s0. This object has no real purpose and imho can be commented out. |
