Well with the exception of those damn Beltec and DTS fake banners they stick everywhere, that looks pretty good! Very good infact.
Sweet lighting and texture work.

It could just be the angle and FOV but coming down the mountain doesn't look overly steep in those pics.

I just OFFICIALLY committed myself to buying a brand new rig to run GTR3 so it looks like THAT!

This looks great, but....
It looks to open at the top, especially on the right.
I'd REALLY like to see a quality version of the old Bathurst from the late '70's/early '80's when half of it was falling apart & the V8's hadn't yet encased it in a coffin of concrete.
Hell & Forest's Corners were tighter, the Dipper really dipped & you could either get air-bourne or wipe out your sump down Conrod Strait.
Im certain Skyline has been changed to as it's no longer as scary!

I'm starting to think I may have to do the same, mine is starting to feel a little geriatric now.

It would be good to see the Nissans of the early 90's get a run in the game as well. I can't forget Jim Richards calling the fans a pack of arseholes when the Nissans went 1,2 at Bathurst in about 1992.

Looks pretty good apart from a severe lack of elevation at McPhillamy - and no trees on the mountain side there either (pics 2/3) - it's like a mountain face, steep drop!

Looks like a illusion to me.

Seems from the pictures they used a panorama setup which makes everything look wider and flatter

Unfortunately, those pics and all the other pics in this forum are not for GTR3.

They are all for SimBin's new game, "RaceRoom Racing Experience" which will be released "soon".

Reserving judgement on this until it's actually released. As much as I want a new game from Simbin, micro-transaction games really annoy me

They've really only confirmed the Aquila screenshots are from RRRE, moreso because of the race track that it is on probably. It's also the only car using "RaceRoom Racing" branding while the other cars are running GTR number tags.

One of the SimBin guys on another forum said some cars and tracks will possibly be in both products also.

'The first time I came to Bathurst, in 1969, they took me for a drive up a winding country road to a hill called Skyline.

The view was spectacular but I was eager to get down to business so I said,

"O.K., now where's the race circuit"?
