NTM model updates were not mentioned in the build notes (that's the PR strategy of the last few builds, a countermeasure to the unconstructive feedback received before). Here's a good summary:

Quite the improvement to drivability, heard very few drivers who aren't happy with it.

Yes, I think that is true, it is not all down to the Linear FFB, before I switched I ran the Skip as before and to be fair it already felt better without Linear FFB anyway.

The two combined though feel pretty damn good.

NTM starting to show it's real potential now.

(I post this here because the 2012 S3 build was when the V8 Falcon was last modified). An update on the issues found on the V8 by pushing setups to their limits:

Although, the current tyre model sucks for kerb hopping as the car simply bounces. The V8 physics are still wrong as all of us have pushed the setup so far in the series that we have found so many bugs in it that give a huge gain. This makes the car terribly difficult to drive but extremely fast if driven in the correct way. A bit annoying really.
Hopefully the NTM "little tweak", currently previewed in the Mclaren MP4, will be added to the V8 with the upcoming 2013 S1 build, and address some of the above.

Rumors on the new Indycar possibly being on the way this year:

[B]With all the new and reworked things iRacing are and have worked on since the original Dallara's release, I have a feeling it will be much better from a handling and visual perspective. Just look at the McLaren.

iRacing also needs a reworked/new Formula 1 car. I say this because the current real life Formula 1 cars have new tyres (Pirelli instead of Bridgestone). They also aren't allowed to refuel now, and there are new restrictions to the chassis. And it also needs its handling completely updating, one minute it can be fine, the next it can be super twitchy and then it can be fine again.
