Default PnG v3

I must say, I am looking forward to the release of v3.
After iRacing exclusively (almost) for the past 12 months, I am interested to see what v3 brings.

That and I feel a bit of loyalty towards the old girl

Some screens

OMG those screen shots just gave me full on sim racing wood.

Looks like they have tinkered with the palette amongst other things... DX9 has never looked so good!

Capris vs CSLs?

Hooting around in these ol girls with u guys again would be Solubrious.

Screenies do look very very good! Good things do come to those wait and looks like it will be worth the wait.

Wonder if speedy can hack v3 aswell ....

Screens do look good - personally I like to run pre 1972 cars.

However CSL, RS3100 and Escort RS2000 isn't a bad alternative, especially with you guys.

Is the Prof still active at No Grip?

Hi GroupC! Iracing is a blast, but it's fairly rare to get into a race with any of the old P&G guys - so it'll be good to hook up for a few laps when 3.0 comes out.

Hi Gravin, hope the new baby is behaving and getting plenty of sleep mate.

Check those screenshots -

Hey group C.

iRacing has been Great. I for one am really enjoying it. Did a few races' lasts night, but also fired up PnG just to blow the cob webs out and fine tune the beast. The L88 sure is a handful

Anyone know how to get 3 screens to work properly in GTR2? Mine looks really stretched

I hear ya mate. Not long now. 1155 chips have come down a bit too and I also was showing Bruza, there is are a few 5 series GPU's pretty cheap ATM.

Plus BF3 will be out soon as well! Oh my, I need some time off work to keep up iRacing, PnG and BF3 I will need to put up a picture of the wife and kids on my rig so i do not forget what they look like

Why does real life have to get in the way of gaming dammit. Not enough time in the day to do all the racing and gaming I want.

I've been racing with rFactor Australia on a Sunday arvo lately, league racing offers something different than iRacing. I think we'll definitely get something going with PnG 3.

Hi Hoss,

Baby has been great - sleeps at night - but, she is sick and spending some time in hospital at the moment - but the lastest is she is improving.

Unfortunately they are over on the other side of Japan as we were visiting my wifes family.

Bit too quite here now - and no that doesnt mean more racing - im bogged down getting ready for the first week of school.

iRacing is great! Tires, suspension, car weight transition feels sooo nice. Not easy to get out of rookie series with all the constant carnage on the track though. You can't even make donuts after the race
But c'mon, you can't get as much fun as in P&G anywhere else. Especially with such a great bunch of guys like here!

Its the return of Captain Coonskin! Howdy Frank !

Do you get any time for sim-racing these days Prof? It'd be cool to do a few laps with you when 3.0 is released....

Hi all.

Yes I have met and moved into a new place with a beautiful lady and am catching up on a bit of closeness.

Unfortunately at the moment I only have a temporary internet connection so I am just able to read emails and that's it.

I hope to get ADSL soon, but I'll need to get the phone on as well.

Have gone cold of late racing @ iRacing, I guess the glitz has worn off a bit for me. Personally it comes down to time available, and the less I race, the less I want to race TBH. ( buying a Go Kart may have dulled my " sitting in front of a computer racing " senses I think too..... )

I actually gave GTR2 a run the other day just for old times sake and to see how much better iRacing was, and was surprised to stand up after an hour with the Lambo @ Spa offline with a horn! It surprised me more than a little how good it was, and conversely how mediocre iRacing was.

The size of the fields @ iRacing makes it. Nothing better than taking off in a grid of 20 odd guys. After hooning GTR2 again though, 20 odd guys in P&G in cars that light the rears up, well, hello!

iRacing is unique, and freaking great fun, but I can't wait for P&G3 and racing the old crew again

+1

The odd guys here are the best in the business.

I've sunk some money into iRacing but only got value on it during practice sessions with Bonanza brothers or when Sean has come over and we've gone hot lapping. My motivation to iRace is very low (too much great stuff going on in RL) and I think its because the community aspect is missing. PnG3, rFactor2, HistorX 2, or whatever it is that gets you jokers back in some dirty old bangers and telling some dirty old jokes in practice sessions... that's where I'll be.

Bring on PnG3!
