Default Forza 3 plus Fanatec CSR = big grin :D

Just have to say this, I've had a lot of fun and mileage out of F3 with a gamepad. But recently I bought a Fanatec CSR and it's fricken ACE. Not quite as good as GT5 with a G25 in many FFB areas, but a smeg load better than a pad and still awesome.

Funny thing is I'd actually been a bit disheartened with my testing, desperately trying to find settings that I liked and found none. Then I realised I was turning on my XB with the guide button on the wheel.... the manual specifically states not to do this and I'd forgotten. So making sure I turn the XB on first THEN press the guide button on the wheel I've been merrily burning rubber.

GT6 will have to be mind bendingly awesome for me to even remotely consider it now. Forza 4 may be a birthday pressie now (June) .

Fanatec CSR is quirky to be sure, but I love it.

Totally agree with you on GT6, it's really going to have to blow my skirt up.

Now you have to try it with FM4

How does the demo of F4 compare to the full game, primarily physics and controls?

The demo is the same. There's been a couple of updates to the game, but nothing
that will make the demo feel any different from playing the actual game.

My CSR Value pack XL was delievered on the 6th of this month. I do have some questions.

Has anyone been able to get the full experience out of this CSR Set??? Such as being able to get use out of the full pedle set and the H Gated shifter???? I have not been able to do so in either FM3 or FM4 and FM4 is supposed to support this functionalty.

Thank you in advance for your time.

With Forza 4 there is a big improvement on how connected the car feels when you use a wheel. The lame Ai and their stupid driving habits though is a step back from Forza 3 IMO, just watch out for them.

yes, all pedals and the shifter work. there atre some issues using the 900 rotation, it doesnt seem to work by default, other have managed to trick it into working.

I havn't got round to using the h shift unit yet. If I'm honest that's an area I think the fanatec is lacking (along with the clamp system). Those two metal shafts and the faffing around was almost too much to get the sequential setup so I've left it as is. I've had no issues with my pedals though. Or 900 degrees. (F3 only)
