Damn, equipment failure. Load cell on the brake is only registering at 50% no matter how hard I push it. Was fine all the way through quali, but for some reason it gave up the ghost at the first corner
Glad there's a long break coming up, looks like I'm going to have to get another one from Fanatec..

First time, grats to podium.
My qualyfication was bad, I think I lost two position. After my start again bad, with the short first gear I spinning the weel, and I lost 2 or 3 positions.![]() After I had big lag in first lap and overtaked me Kimi. In the 4th lap I made one stupid mistake and stopped the engine after the spin. ![]() One of the time the Windows put down my GTL, I lost 15-16 seconds again. ![]() But the second half was better for me. We made nice fight with Clemens. First time we overtaked Lade (L4D4) in nice battle, after I chased him for a long times. My tyres was worse and worse, but Clemens made one mistake and I overtaked him. . My tyre wear was 26.5 in front left at the end of the race. Thx. for all, and see You on Spa. |

Great Race last night in the BMW.
Qualified in 11th place. I had a 17 lap battle with Kimi in the MERC and could not find a place to pass, after wave upon wave of attack Kimi held his nerve and made that Merc very wide. I had to wait to pass him during the pitting phase. Other highlight was a pass on Gigabyte in the Porsche. The rest of the 12 laps was pretty lonely, bringing the Bmw home to a 10th place finish (My goal for every race). Thanks everyone. |

Great race again.
Congrats podium (I think that first time the same car in 3 firsts places). Porsche 911 territory Race report: The first 8 o 9 laps trying to keep the Cap and Caspar rythm. After that Caspar make a mistake on the T1 we have a good battle with him for the 5th place. I did my pit stop on lap 28 and return in 5th position with a 7 seconds gap over Cas. My tyres was worse and I thought that Cas overtake me because my lap time goes down 2 o 3 seconds. What's happened Cas? ![]() Finally 5th !!! ![]() See you in Nordschleife. Cheers! What a race. I like the Hungaroring so I was looking forward to a great race.
Came to qualy and improved my PB by 0,8 secs to a 1:52,04 which meant pos 10 on the starting grid. Had a great start and was on pos 7 after the first lap with Senyorlobo in front and I4D4 behind. I was very pleased by the pace of the GTAm with full tank, which was nearly as good as with empty tank (haven't tried this when practising...). Senyorlobo and the group in front pulled away and I had a tough time keeping I4D4 behind me until he did a mistake and lost some seconds. After that I could improve my pace a bit without the need to watch the rear view mirror all the time. Tried the save the tires a bit, but after some time I realised, that tire wear still would be to bad, so I went full attack with the tires, which didn't improve my laptimes thou... ![]() In the pits I lost some time, because Von Burkis BMW drove directly in my way, when I wanted to leave my pit crew. Sorry that I touched you there! After pitstop suddenly I had Zsoca directly behind me. I knew this will get a tough time... We closed our gap to I4D4 (he seemed to have had a shorter pitstop) who struggeled a bit with his tires?! He made his Commodore wide and with the Zsocas Mini in my rear view mirror it was a tough time overtaking him. Finally he got a bit on the gras and I could squeee the Alfa through. Zsoca could overtake him too, so I had again the Mini headlights in my mirror, with a Zsoca who was pushing and waiting for my mistake... Finally Cale lapped us (how fast he is!!!) and strangely after I let him pass I turned in and my front tires felt totally slippy. I lost some time and did some mistakes which Zsoca utilized to get through. Even thou he was obviously struggling with his tires too, I couldn't re-overtake him and ended the race on pos 8. In the end this was a very good race for me. Despite the pitstop and the small mistakes in the end I did a perfect race with very consistent laptimes mostly in the 1:53 area, which was the fastest I could do with the GTAm with some safety in the race. So I am lucky! In practise I tried to find a setup which didn't eat the front left tire so fast, but I didn't succeed. I think this was the first race for a long time, where I had to change tires on the pitstop. But overheating brakes (which was a problem on some tracks with GTAm) was no problem this time... Unfortunately the Alfa drivers Pete and Fla$H didn't appear, would have been interesting to see their pace in the Alfa. Grats to the Porsche podium ![]() Thx all for racing! Greetz Clemens |

Mai Por, Senyorlobo and I bought the PF1 pedal filter from Basherboards and it works like a charm! perfect resolution, 100% smooth action. No more complaints about pedals, which means no more excuses As for the race, i started from 14th pos. which was good for me considering i'm still getting used to manual clutch. Lost few positions at start, and couldn't overtake slower cars in front of me, tried to during first laps because i knew that my pace would fall soon down. I made a downshift mistake at the end of main straight falling to the back group, then started a fight with Wilb that ended up with a dual spin when i tried to overtake him, my fault again (damn track ). I overtook Fungi in pit stop, and tried to hold Malcolm behind me but he was much faster than me, moreover i did more mistakes so i couldn't get closer to the ones in front of me. Ended up in 20th position, not good, i still need some tweaks on the setup in order to preserve tires from wearing out too soon and more concentration when riding alone, sometimes i discover myself losing 2-3 secs. per lap... wtf! ![]() See you in the green hell!

9th on grid, ok.
Very nice start! I went to the front so fast it took some time for cars 1 and 2 toappear on my screen. ![]() Entered T1 in 4th place behind Jotapu. His braking was quited different than mine on cold tyres and I had to adapt because ther was no way to pass. I got a bit too eager and messed up a turn and fell back behind cap7 and his Nissan. He was even harder to pass! I think we ran together for a lot of laps and sometimes I was so close it was scary. But I didn't want to try a silly move, maybe my chance would come. It did! At one time I could exit T last well enough to get in cap's draft. He went to drive on the middle and I thought of Rubens v. Schumi.....but of course our cap didn't do such a move and I went by micely on the far right......and was WAY too late on the brake and wqent off.....and lost another place to Mr. Lobo sr. His Nissan was also hard to pass but I managed at T1 and set off to try and get to cap again. But I made a big mistake and fell back again. Pit stop was OK but man I was so far behind cap and Jotapu I couldn't believe it. In the last stage I still had a chance to catch up with Lobo but again, mistake after mistake. I thank the 2 Commodores to be so kind to let me by twice and I tried as hard as possible not to disrupt their hot fight. 6th is not very good with the speed I had but hey, gotta stay cool. Thanks cap for the great fight. You did very well in keeping every apex locked and never gave me a real chance. I saw gentlemanly driving in general, pretty awesome. |

Hi guys,
the first half of the season is over now so time for some statistics: - Driver - Car - Win(s) > Cale - Porsche 911S - Melbourne / Sepang / Shanghai / Sakhir / Silverstone / Hockenheim / Hungaroring > JohnW - Nissan KGC110 - Barcelona > Zsoca - Mini Cooper Works - Monaco > Cap7 - Nissan KGC110 - Montreal > DC - Porsche 911S - Valencia Street Podium: > Porsche 911S -> 15x > Nissan KGC110 -> 12x > Nissan Skyline GT-R -> 4x > Mini Cooper Works -> 2x So much work to do for the Opel, Ford, Porsche (914/6), Alfa Romeo, BMW and Mercedes teams to get some podium results in the second part of this season. So far we drove a maximum of 351 laps and 1663,1km in 11 races. So far it's great to have in every race +/-25 starters on the grid and the behaviour in the first laps is also much better than in the beginning. I hope everybody had some great racing like I had, so it doesn't really matters that there was no top 10 result for me in the first half. That's my target for the second half - Top10... regards Matra-Rancho Links for the Summerbreak-Event: - REAL-Mod 1.0 ---------------> click - REAL-Mod 1.3 Update --------> click - Nordschleife 2007 V2.21 RC4 -> click |

For the Spa, KAD Mini will get the 2012 version of optional 5-speed gearbox, which has small differences between the gears compared to old one. I will release a beta (or version 2.15) in next week, which has my driver skin this new box enabled. All Mini drivers can then test it and tell me, if they wish to continue using 4 speed or move to use new 5 speed box.
After that, when I know which skins should have new 5-speed box, I will do the official release. |

and oh, during my vacation I went and drove The Trollstigen
(11 turns, 10% average climb, over 900m raise within 6.7 km. mostly single lane with passing spots.) ...was not the highest point of the route (which was in Jyvasshytta, 1817 meters above sea level, near Galdhöpiggen), but definetely one of the most scary ones.

umm... Server says "bad password" when trying to join with "Tyrell P34"
![]() EDIT: after testing the Jag, I have decided to go with the doggy house. And the Div1 version. Most likely I will do better result with it, even though it would mean being lapped only twice, instead of four times.

Great race fellas!
Matra Rancho in his long-legged Gordini pipped me by 0.2 sec. Not bad after 3 laps of Nords.

However, having XCars or GTL Car Tools helps quite bit managing the cars after the install as in game all the Real Mod cars are in TC-65 class. I am still wondering if I will be in Spa... After the Nords was such huge success (being able to challenge quite few Div2 cars with being only Div 1 car driver) I am not sure if I should destroy that success having bad race at Spa. In very first tests, which I have ran already, I have found that I am not going to be very competitive. (AI driving with same car and setup is about 3 seconds per lap faster than me.) |
