Default VW Beetle?

There is supposedly a VW Beetle for GT Legends, however the links over at another site aren't working (not sure if I can say which site, let's just say it's a "classic" of sorts). After scouring the interwebs I've come up empty. Anyone know of a VW Bug in the works, or if there's one out there?

This is the link, from an Hungarian site, and a wonderfull and perfect 2 Beetle Mods (in my opinion a must have!!), made by Tuza Ervin.
So, enjoy.

and a complement: http://hsw.hu.ip10.varolista.hu/inde...d=15660&lm=800

Okay I found the problem, it's Google Chrome. Chrome is not bringing up the site. Use FireFox and it works!

Thank you very much!

Thanks Ney , but how does all that stuff go? ... I mean ... first we must install the "Beetle Challenge" in the Extracars folder and then what you call the "complement", the VW_1600_6_0 that creates a "VW 1600 Beetle Challenge" folder beside the "Beetle Challenge" ??? Same cars inside but all other files have different names ...
I had already a "VW 1600 B4 Porsche 1966" folder ... I'm confused

Go with the VW_1600_6_0, that is the latest version of the mod you have. I have that one also, and it was the beta release. It had a number of different versions by different people in between.

Beetle Challenge is a conversion of the rfactor mod of the same name, it is one of the older rfactor mods, and is ok if you make a standalone class for it.

Yeap!! That's right!! Josepmaria can do exactly what Lunsmann is saying.
This v6.0 is the final version, and you can delete the other one.
So, enjoy this nice Mod, my friends! Cheers!

I tried using the VW 1600 6.0 v., and all of the cars were locked for some reason. I had to overwrite the file with with the VW 1600 Challenge file to finally to access the cars.

Same here, but the only thing I had to do was buy one car !!!

BTW ... I'd prefer more "sixties style" skins ..

A zillion years ago, I got permission from Murapi to use the Beetle mod for GTL.
Now I am finally able to make some cars... we'll have a beetle, someday.

The Murapi Beetle though is a spaceframe with an epoxy beetle-like body.
They raced that in real life too, with Golf GTi engines.

saw a screenshot and posted a comment here...
then I visited GTR4U to check the authors post and...yeah what should I say!? we lost him to pCARS
the Beetle will not be finished, though a little chance remains if someone take over the project

you`re waisting your time on the wrong forum, they`re been out for a long time on

<snip>

btw; to make them handle, open hdc-file and adjust CGheight (in "general") from 0.29 to -0.29 and the beetles will act like real beetles and stop flipping over in turns

Thanks Unfairlane! I was waiting for this information for months! I love this Mod, and my versions were enhanced very much, but this problem remained unsolved.
Going to try now and talk to you later!
Thank you very much!

after that modification anything, even the Citroen 2CV is steady as a rock.
realistic? well yeah... as long as you have underground railing which the car has been connected with 40 inch steelbar from it's bottom.
