Default Funny sound.

Hello guys,

Quick question. Is there anyway to remove that horse galloping sound that regularly happens? It wasn't there in shift 1 and this is the first game where I have heard this. I find it it immersion breaking sound wise.

Cheers

That's the sound of your car going over tarmac gravel pieces...they bounce off the back of the tyres onto the underside of the car creating that sound on overused/ badly maintained tracks...This happens cause most of the cars in s2u have no mudflaps on the rear of each tyre lol (no wonder cause they're supercars).

Does it still seem immerson breaking to you now?

Thanks for explaining. I suppose I've never had the experience of that happening to me while driving, then again you could say the whole game is immersion breaking because I've never driven a supercar on a proper race track.

Still, I'm comparing this to other racing games I've played so frankly I'd rather:
A - Remove it completely
B - Reduce the sound

I really don't know how you'll get thadone...ask on the modding thread....Word of advice don't ask people to fix it for you ask them how you can fix it yourself. you'll get a quicker response.

Good luck. If no response ask again after a couple of days..

You can use Clean Tracks and Ground Cover 1.2 by xpervision. It removes the noise and the rubber/gravel particles as well.

I'm not familiar with this game but if the sounds are wav files load the pertinent ones in any wav editor and either set volume to zero (to eliminate the sound) or reduce it by 6-9dB (to lower the level).
