There are little to no trolls on this forum. Goatrage being the one bad seed. It'd do us all god to just block him like i did. I BLOCKED him yet still I have to look at his stupid comments on Bregel's pictures. It's harrassment, and almost spam as no one cares for his opinions.
If there's a problem with people (perceived) trolling or whatever, report it but don't go on a private war. If you step over the line there is no excuse by pointing towards others.

^^ reported...I'm wondering whether admins are going to do anything about it (unlike staing silent so far)...are YOU going to look into this complaint?? Ther's plenty of evidence to back me up.

As you can see, this and several other comments from goatrage have been infracted already earlier (after having been notified about the thread via another post report). No-one of the NG staff has been aware of all of this until now, so I suggest that anyone seeing such things takes up the Report Post function a bit sooner in the future.

And please don't abuse it to fight a personal war, only report postings that are really off the mark.

how do I get the Speedhunters 2000 GT-R wheels (the fat tyres) work on a normal 240ZG?

maybe changing meb. files to get the rims.....I have no idea how tyres work in shift 2....maybe the physics vdfm files??

dont think changing meb files will work, both cars has Speedhunters edition and they have those thick tyres while the standard (stock) ones dont.

Copy any part from Speedhunters 2000 GT-R (wheels loda, lodb, lodc, tyre) into normal 240zg and renamed it.

just tried it, it work but a small slice of the brake kits cut through the rim. How do I fix that?

@bregel : i've downloaded your Scion FRS and there is something wrong with the fuel gauge meter, I know it doesn't work but the needle is pointing out of the box it is supposed to point to. Maybe it's running on magic .

Edit : Changing <prop name="Fuel level Gauge" data="0;1;-120" /> to <prop name="Fuel level Gauge" data="0;1;120" /> in the car's cpt file fixes the problem.

Hi all! is there a mod to increase the AI's intelligence? i remember that with patch for steam digital version there was an update for AI. Is it right? i have the cd version of the game. Thanks

I'm afraid that's never going to happen, JYdougNY never releases his mods. What he does do is help us out on the forums and innovates the modding scene via his spread of information.

I've been told he doesn't release his cars because he takes resources from other modder's cars (Tool831 maybe I dunno?) and it's frowned upon on these forums to release stolen work, it's totally fine if you are making the car for yourself though...Also I think he might not want to deal with any annoying requests and bug fixes that come with releasing your mods..

Also I think that he tries to stimulate the community by withholding his mods, if he releases no mods people will try themselves to mod their favorite cars and the fun starts...personally I think that's all well and good but things have stagnated and we have 4 modders now.

So my friend, sadly we will never get them. Though I must say he should release at least one, or upload a video of one of his mods so we can see the quality of them, it would be great to see a master at work and let him set a new standard for the quality of the mods released.

JYdougNY if you see this, all I'm asking for is a video..Please, give us something to drool at. The pictures in your gallery only scratch the surface..

Question

Hi guys, just needing some help creating my body kit for the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 add-on car by WinnerSD47. I have exported all the .meb files but need some help getting it in game.
1.Do I need to export all the .loda.dmg files aswell?
2.What do I write in the .vhf.bml file?


Here are some images of the body kit if anyone wants to help. I have also attached the .vhf.bml file for the aventador if anyone wants to look at it

That looks sweet man. I can only answer one of your questions properly though. NO, I don't think you need to export loda.dmg files very few addon cars have damage after all and if I remember correctly very few of those cars even have those files in their folder, if they do they're probably identicle to the stock car body model because obviously you don't get any damage for them in game and Forza doesn't have any damage models. You certainly can HAVE them in your vehicle folder (do them for safety) you don't NEED them.

As far as I know I thought a vhf.bml would be generated automatically once you exported (if you'd done every little detail correctly and it would have code in it)......We need suggestions.

I have tried without adding anything but when I buy the body kit, it stays the same, none of my parts are installed. Do you know anyone that can help add the values and lines to it?

Also, Do you know where I can get a template for the Aventador so i can create some racing liveries for the kit.

Template-WinnerSD47.

Body kit-either send files to Winner SD 47 or alternatively ask Bregel or JYdougNY or ermo on HOW to do it.

pls download my F333SP Forza edition...but also use the update 0.7a for offset position fix...that you have the complette car

Hi guys, does anyone know why this happens when I buy my Aventador Bodykit?





When I import a file into ZModeler, it errors with the message:

Failed to locate preferable environment texture "NFSEnvMap.bmp". Adjust filter preference in profile editor.

Does this mean that the exported file will be errored as well and how do I cure this?

I NEED HELP!

Hi guys. I would like to know if any of you came across stuff that have to do with driver head physics ? I'm trying to figure out how to make the head/camera pitch during acceleration / braking and bumps like in Shift 1.

Would appreciate any help on this. Thx.

Question

Hello people

I have started a very simple project, a fiat 131 from forza 3 (thought it was a good place to start car modding) now I opened the car in zmodeler but it appears as a whole car not in bits and pieces like the dfferent .mebs that make up a shift 2 cars.. How do I seperate the parts and save them as different mebs?

physically split them up in zmodeller I think. Alternatively an easier was is to start from square 1. If you do you can export from forza studio in separate parts again...

Also I'd appreciate you send me the maserati textures....you will get your return of course.

.2 I tried forza studio and it gives me an error

Addendum: when I load a model all the textures are missing, I added them t the texture list but still it doesn't show textures

Actually I know a thing or two about this but I'm definitely not experienced enough to help you you are better off asking bregel or someone else for help.

I'm sorry I wish I could help you more but I simply do not know.....

All that bregel and the rest of the experts say is a few tips and then "learn by yourself" but what I can't comprehend is how the hell are you suposed to learn when they only tell yu the easy bits... Its like giving someone a page ripping it in 2 and then telling that person to read the whole page... It just isn't possible

If you haven't seen my thread yet - I've been trying my best to unravel the Shift upgrade system and working on some upgrades of these previously 'fixed' cars using the standard in-game system....

Up to Stage-4/Works-Level:
B1442 Nissan 240ZG (420hp)
A1582 Porsche 911 RSR 3.0 1974 (590+hp)
A1581 Ford Capri RSI3100 (690hp)
A1583 BMW 3.0 CSL (580+hp)
A1968 BMW M1 (850+hp)
A2155 Porsche 911 GT3 RSR (890+hp)
A2177 Ford Mustang RTR-X (1100hp)
A2199 Ford GT40 Mk.I (720+hp)

There's more detail in the thread here here along with copies of my modified files in post #6 for anyone who's interested to have a play around with

[I have my eyes on performance-upgrading the BMW M3 GT2 next - thought it would make a good companion for the upgraded 911 GT3 RSR...]
