Alright, this is a request only! Since I haven't paid for ability to test pCARS.. So I cannot make a list of cars. Sad for me.
Someone would be really nice person - and make a car list. ![]() Thanks for him who's going to make 1 (for this thread). Sorry if there is 1 already somewhere! I haven't found 1 (yes, I have googled too, but did not find any). Oh, and sorry if you thought this was a list!

It it just me, or is there no front wheel drive car in the game so far? I'd love to see a FWD tourer like the Seat Leon.

Ah, the Minis.
Seriously, are Minis that sought after? ![]() If we were talking about the Honda S2000, the Skyline, the Miata...Hmmm.

It was very much wanted as 'car of the century' (2nd place after Ford model T).
Also, it was one of the most raced cars in history. I'd say many people have driven or raced one. Might be a big seller for pCars - Minis are still very very popular. How about a full Miglia spec Mini? They STILL race them! Also, as a classic car fanatic, I do miss the classic cars. Porsche 911... Some of the cars on that list will become classics, but some will also be last weekends pizza by the time the game is ready for release. |

You're right.
What about 21st century Minis? Would they do the trick for fans? |

Classic Mini Cooper or none at all. I'm not a fan of the remade Mini, mainly because it's not really a Mini~

I have good hopes that the classic Mini will make it into the game at some point. Every car fan loves it, right?

I'd love to see the Original Clubman in. Would make a refreshing change from the classic round nose.

As indeed (almost) every car fan loves it, it would be a missed opportunity for PCars. Similarly, a bunch of competitive cars could be cooked up. TC-65 in GTL was pretty good. Made easy for pCars: look at which add-ons came out. Obviously they are wanted ![]() I'd say a classic car pack would go down well. For the (LARGE!) US market, how about a bunch of Muscle. If pCars 'does' ovals, some 'winged warriors' (Dodge Daytona/Plymouth Superbird)? Since there is uncertainty regarding the SAE/BHP and 'BS' stuff, could be made into a very close class. I still have to meet the first car-nutter that doesn't like a roaring V8. Oh, and Minis are 'hot' in Japan, as are some other classics (VW Beetle...). A large market, and a financially big gaming market IMO. |

There is nothing Mini about it (too large and heavy). It is a designer car. I'd rather get one of those new 500 Abarth thingies. Or a Fiesta Turbo or BMW M1 or something. |

The Golf GTI and 205 GTI are second only to the MX5 as the most requested cars I've seen, it's just that big manufacturers seem to take a lot longer to respond in licensing talks. Smaller companies like BAC are communicative to the point of actually posting on the forums, but when it's a massive international business with dozens of levels of manufacturers, things slow down somewhat. Even Mitsubishi Cars is relatively small, but the big names will turn up eventually, I'm sure.

I think I might, if:
- The actual sim is pretty good (probably will be); - Te online action is good (connection, wreckers, that kinda thing); - It offers the content that I like (partly doubtful); - If it doesn't offer the content, then must be modifyable. I have no doubt it will look good. Also I have no doubt the tracks will be good and plenty. I do not mind having to buy add-on content, if it is good and offers the stuff I want. Point being: I do not like F1 cars, single seaters, open wheelers, and exotics. Some people do but I am not one of them. What I like is touring cars, best if they are 'sort of stock'. And the classics, of course. VW Beetle, Minis, GTi, Abarths, sportscars... |

I do agree that the 2001 Mini was designed to be a sporty, trendy car while the original Mini became a sporty trendy car by accident. I too like the new Fiat 500 Abarth - it was styled by the same guy who did the 2001 Mini. |

What I personally need the most in pcars are some slow cars. But I'm probably alone and weird on that one I know
.Currently the slowest cars in pcars are the fastest road-legal cars lol. |

You're not weird and certainly not alone.
The slowest cars in the game are Caterham Seven Classic, genuinely slow and a lot of fun to drive (one of my favorites). If you want some open wheel action there's the Formula Rookie. |

The licensed roadcars like the Focus are on hold pending reference material from the manufacturers, that's why most of the cars ingame so far are from smaller companies, unbranded or historic. Hopefully we'll get some proper roadcars within the next few months.

I'm thinking of buying "Team Member" but I don't know yet... I also want to start modding that, but I think it'd be against the terms and stuff... I have a very early build's most of the .bff files (a friend sent me) and the game layout is almost the same as in shift 2

I wonder about Lotus. Do they need a complete different licence - I mean track cars like Elise or other newer cars - and so on compared to the classis (1962 - 1986) race cars which are licenced? |

It might seem harsh, but SMS are inviting people into the development process, so in return there's a very mild NDA and a promise not to tinker on with their game yet. It's a lot less severe than normal game development NDAs though, I can tell you that. |

Mini and probably 1987 Touring Car as DLC would be good addition.
Just imagine M3 E30, Maserati Biturbo, Alfa Romeo 75, Ford Sierra RS Cosworth, Sprinter Trueno & Civic Si 84 racing together at Macau. ![]() Supercar and all that monster machine just too mainstream for racing game.

All those cars sound nice BUT I really hope there will be more cars from the same series.
This list is way too random, you can't do actual close racing - there needs to be more GT3 cars for example.. |

I think anyone who wanted to put out a '60s American Classic that you won't find anywhere else (as far as I know) should seriously consider the Chevy Corvair. Air cooled, flat six in the rear, rear wheel drive. One of the cars I learned to drive in. Four on the floor was way cool and fun to drive - and it wasn't a Mustang or Camaro (preceded both). I really enjoyed that car, in spite of Nader's opinions.

There will be RUFs though... http://www.virtualr.net/project-cars...ense-announced
IIRC no sim has had RUFs so far.. and the CTR “Yellowbird” should more than make up for standard 911s. Still, because of EA there can't even be the historic Porsches like 908, 914 etc.etc. but well we cant have everything
